Considering the real hair looks like garbage I wish it wasn't sculpted under. Because I plan to do my own real hair and do a far more accurate job than hot toys now I may have to use acetone to get the sculpted hair off

Get the UPS my choice app and you can authorize them to leave it that's what i do.
That reminded me; I have an account with them, but you can't authorize a signature release because Sideshow won't allow it. I remember going through that several years ago (calling Sideshow & UPS) and finding out that if a particular company tells UPS to not allow the customer to do that, then you can't do it. I pay all that money for shipping, just to have to end up getting very inconvenienced and spending 1/3 tank of gas to pick it up at the fulfillment center the next day.

I go to UPS My Choice to release signature authorization with all my Sideshow purchases. Not sure why they won't allow you to do the same. Have you tried recently? Maybe their policies have changed.

I authorize no signature for every figure through the app, never had an issue.

I've used the app and have authorized 5 figures now and they've left every one at my front door. Like Zenjay says maybe somthing has changed since you last tried.

The Civil War Iron Mark Mk 46 thread is now worried about different batches and which one is the batch to get. :lol

The glued on hair is undoubtedly a feeble attempt by HT to atone for the fact that they screwed up and didn't use rooted hair to begin with, but can still say that it does have "real" hair.

However, I'll personally still take it over solely sculpted hair because it's still able to be futzed a bit to acheive somewhat of a wild haired look that can't be achieved at all with sculpted hair only.

As long as the sculpted hair underneath is painted then I don't care too much about the extra hair falling out. It will make it a b**** to sell on in the future though if anyone ever decides to part with their hairless Yoda. I can already hear the disgust from prospective buyers.

But I dunno, I think I kinda prefer the original look with just the sculpted hair myself.

Mine arrived in the UK yesterday afternoon but there has been no updates since! I guess it's a Monday delivery for me, unless FedEx allow Saturday pick ups.

Three water baths and a Q-tip (cotton bud) to make the hair a little more wispy... Done!!

Looks great, I was thinking of applying wisps to the TOP of the head with Q-Tip and some glue but don't want residue on the sculpt, did you just manipulate the existing hair?

BTW, will post a pic or 2 when I get my guy futzed and posed.
