For someone like myself I don't mind the wait. I've got all the figs I want that are already released. If they released everything when they originally intended there'd be even bigger gaps between getting new figs and then you'd craaaazy with boredom.

Flexpay is awesome! But I understand what DrQ2 is saying. You don't have to flex pay either just pre order full amount and you won't get charge anything. Till the item ships.

I too, wish I could pay the whole thing off at times. Or if the CA law in the problem, then just leave me a small $10 balance or something.

Thats exactly what They do as long as you don't flex pay. And flex pay is a great option for those who want to spread their payments out.

:exactly: Love Flex overall! :hi5:

Yes, that is nice and all but in order to make certain that you do not miss out and have to pay a heavy scalper's premium, you kind of DO have to preorder.

[This is in fact, why I do not preorder except for stuff that I absolutely cannot live without.]

We have a lot of HT apologists in here, and raggings about menstruation et al to the side, the fact of the matter is that HT needs to get their ducks in a row, hire some people and expand their factory[ies] and just generally act like professionals about this stuff, and that includes for figures I am not even interested in. How they do business is stupid and it sucks, and every last person in the hobby knows it.

Whether they want to admit it or not.

It doesn't matter whether or not you are being realistic, paniced, emotional, or irrational. You and whoever else is crazed about these delays are just torturing yourselves. Whether its intentional or just a part of how HT are made, produced and shipped, this is how they do business. As much as we'd all love it to, its probably not going to change. Either figure out a way to handle the delays or take more drugs and alcohol. :dunno:wink1:

I generally assume there's a good reason for delays and in this case, I could certainly see the complicated outfit being murder to mass produce in this scale. Better it's delayed and meets expectations than is rushed out and is a disappointing product. Really don't get stressing out about these delays... who cares? It'll be out when it's out. In the meantime, enjoy your life.

:exactly:

HT is my drug and my drug is delayed :lol

Delays for a luxury item like HT figures is a serious 1st world problem. With everything going on in the world today i feel lucky just to be able to afford and enjoy this hobby. I will never complain about a month or 9 month delay on something like this. It will get here when it gets here.

I know SSC does not make them, I also know they are the US distributor of HT. I also know its HT doing this. I also know this is HT MO. But We are not buying from HT, we are buying from SSC.

If you know HT MO is to push a figure back, why in the world would you FlexPay it that far in advance? FlexPay is to break up the cost for people that can't swing it all at once. You could have saved the money in your account if you knew you'd have it so far in advance. FlexPay does not guarantee you getting the figure at the first Estimated Release Date.

I am not "crazed," "panicked," or "irrational" about a 5+ month delay, merely really annoyed, so perhaps we could ratchet the hyperbole down a notch or two.

You are misreading and misunderstanding me.

I AM NOT CALLING YOU OUT.

Why didn't you quote that I also said REALISTIC?

I am addressing you and everyone else who is having a problem with all these delays. ( a big enough problem that you are posting phrases like SERIOUS AS A HEART ATTACK ) And the fact that you have been needing to defend your post for 2 days now may show you that THE PERCEPTION is that you are having a big problem. You have to admit, that when you say you are SERIOUS AS A HEART ATTACK when talking about TOYS, you are going to get comments about your state.

A heart attack is life and death. Being able to buy food, have a roof to live under, have your health, these are SERIOUS issues. NOT buying high end, $200, absolutely unnecessary toys.

I am just offering advice. Take it or not. I am not crapping on you nor do I think anything negative of you. If this is how you like collecting, have at it.

I love these things. They are a total escape from reality for me. They are nothing for me to take serious or get worked up about. When that happens, I will stop collecting.

Hate to say this, but I am kind of happy for the delay. I have too many things coming already in March. One more month isn't going to kill me.
