I just think it's funny that thread about a figure can go way off topic for hundreds of posts yet if someone creates a different type of thread about another aspect of that figure they get jumped all over about starting unnecessary threads.

I would rather have a year long figure thread that is only about the figure, even if it is only 20 pages instead of a 400 page thread that is mostly banter.

I really get a laugh when someone new asks for a picture and then the usual suspects tell them to check the figures thread, as if everyone has the time to browse though 1000s of posts.

I get a laugh at the stupid threads that get created about figures when there already is a figure thread. I think most would agree it is easy to just skim over banter posts and have fewer concentrated figure threads than some of the dumb stuff that gets created on here. Mostly by new people or those that don't like to follow board etiquette.

This is the only forum that I know of where multiple threads about the subject are looked down upon and off topic discussion is welcome in subject matter threads.

It's freaking bizaro world in here.

AND NO, it is not easy to skim a 2000 - 4000 post thread.

I find the best way to find pictures is by doing a good search & more often than not they'll take me to pictures on this forum & save me going through all the thread comments..., which is definitely not a good thing unless you read them as they are happening. :)

there is significant discrepancy on the paint job shown at the official website and the prototype!
the official photos look much more metallic and with distinct layer effect, hope
HT can improve on the final product.:slap

Keep in mind that lower picture has a jacked up white balance and is over exposed with a huge light blasting on it

Or, you can click the little paperclip, that indicates image attachments, on the forum menu next to the thread you're interested in seeing the photos in.

Agreed. It seems like a huge number of people don't understand how lighting effects a photo. From looking at the photos I'm fairly sure it's the same proto. You can match certain unique features between them.

It's a really impressive suit I think, thanks for sharing the pics. :) We'll be waiting ages for it but it'll be a nice addition for my collection when ever it finally turns up. :)
