Awesome job with the pics!
That looks incredible... definitely worth the extra $35 and lack of BD parts. I would never display them with BD parts anyway so it's no big loss for me.
Took some photos of the Ultron Mark I base specifically for those who wanted to see the level of detail. Over-exposed some of the images on purpose to let you see the detail of the internal mechanics. I personally think it looks amazing.

Yeah the base is sick, a bit pricey but im not really surprised, HT is going to continue to charge more and more for these guys.
At some point I'm tapping out!
Lol yeah I'm sure we all have said that once or twice yet here we are, still buying em lol. But yeah soon I might have to be doing the same.
I say that's it I'm done at least 2 or 3 times a year, then it's im done after these figures (or whatever) & then it's well I'll just see what they are going to make next (before I rule anything out)..., it's a work in progress. Not sure I'll get there but not sure I want to either?!? lol
i feel what you guys are saying. i tapped out on figures over 220 last year. it hurts me to not get some of these figures but i can't justify spending this much money on plastic toys any more

Well this is partly diecast.
I feel the same though, this is getting pretty expensive, especially for movies with multiple figures coming out. If you ever want to get a complete set, films like AoU can definitely burn a major hole in your wallet.
I'm really hoping for a well-spaced out release. I missed out on the first Avengers since I only started collecting this year so I really want to get the group together. Spacing them out would really help in managing the costs for me.
I have not been on this board a long time, but been here long enough to see many people come and go. They will purchase 10-12 figures in a 6 month span, get into credit trouble and blow out of the community trying to pay off and recover from debt. It's a fickle thing collecting these figures with the prices. When the first avengers released, there were a bunch of those types of people registering on here trying the get all of the Avengers and chase iron man figures.
This is a hobby that can be really awesome, but people just need to handle their business and know what they can afford. Else they get in to financial trouble and ruin the hobby for themselves and quit collecting HT altogether. This summer will be awesome around this board though, the figure releases for Avengers AOU will come fast and furious. It was really fun to see the board rolling with activity as they are released and I suspect it will be on fire again.
Unfortunately with the raising prices, I am also sure we will see a few more victims before it is all said and done.
Very true and well said hokie. A lot of guys get the "bug" and start going crazy and collecting everything they see. Gotta collect this stuff in moderation and know what you really want and what you can actually fit in your apartment/house.
