I never actually measured Hulk, I didn't know he's over 18 inches tall. Makes sense though as massive as he is.

As long as Thanos isn't as giant as Darkseid in Justice League War, I don't mind him being over 7 feet. He'd look down on even Thor.

Yeah maybe Hot Toys asked Marvel how tall he was.... and then made the figure with the wrong height

There's that possibility, too Maybe movie Thanos is just 7' and HT said "let's make him 6 inches taller in 1/6 form since we made our Hulk 8'6" and not 8'!"

@ Hologram: Gauntlet does look good! It will be pretty cool seeing a light-up gauntlet down the track. Hope he gets an angry headsculpt, too (want one with gritting teeth).

I dispensed with the 12" metal rule and dug out a tape measure myself. I make him precisely 18.25" to the top of his hair:

Ok see this is what I was talking about. One person says 16, another 16, and it's actually 18. A 2 inch difference. That's pretty big. I'm not sure how one ruler can be that far off. Doesn't make any actual sense.

I thought it was bigger then the advertised size. Which was the point I was going to make...just because hot toys says thanos will be 38cm..it's also says approximately. So thanos could be 18 inches tall. Or 19 even. Or 15. Until he is actual made there's no way to tell. Hot toys doesn't even know till that first one rolls of the assembly line. Thanos is going to be, if he's close to hulk size, 35% taller then thor and cap and so on. Plus twice the mass.

Anyway, this question I asked about the size, and for someone to actual not guess and bust out a measuring stick goes to show you how much people use speculation as fact.

That's not going to happen. Posters saying HT has added goodies due to disappointing pre-orders are mis-remembering/conflating different things. Rocket/Groot 2-pack got an extra piece for Sideshow's exclusive. That's it and it had nothing to do with pre-order numbers.

They'll only set it after they're done with all the pre-orders, plus a bit on top.

I am a bit disappointed that neither Cap or Thanos had a sideshow exclusive version. Not sure what they could have given to Thanos to be honest but something for either would have been nice.
