I love this figure. The fact that it comes with the Rogers head sculpt made me pass on the Steve and Cap set. I'll still get the stealth suit, but this one is my favorite Cap. Just waiting for SSC to get it up so I can place my order
I agree that the tailoring is better on the Strike suit. But damn, those classic colors...really a huge plus on the AoU suit.

That's sort of my problem with the suit overall, the designers complicated the suit by redesigning the strike suit and adding Caps classic color scheme. It just doesn't look right to me nor would i take Cap seriously like i did in TWS.
I think it looks great as an evolution.
We'd have to believe that Cap would have had this suit ready to wear during TWS, but we only really saw him doing Strike ops, so he never wore it.
This looks to me like the daytime version of the Strike Suit.

I find it funny that someone doesn't believe a man would wear that suit yet he believes a man could do what Captain America does.

I get that but the strike suit to me had the perfect blend of everything from color scheme, practicality, stylishness and simplicity. The AoU suit is just way too busy and sort of feels forced in a way.
Of course. I plan on always getting the new Cap figures. I have nine in the detolf right next to me, lol.
I have two of the 2-set coming too. So i can display Strike Cap with and without the helmeted sculpt.
I'm always all-in for Cap, and the more different each suit is from the last, the happier i am.

I have the exact same feeling I had when looking at Strike Suite Cap. so I ordered him. and now... he is not here yet and I am rather disappointed by the in-hand pictures I've seen of the figure. I fear this might end the same way. oh boy.
I really do want him. he'd look great with Strike Suit Cap. they could both stand at the opposing sides of my shelf and just be... awesome.

Same here. They make them, I buy them. If they don't make them, I make them or get someone else to make them.

Still not up, maybe it will be in another hour? If not, hopefully tomorrow.
No exclusive. No pre-order from me. I'm done pre-ordering stuff that can be had on eBay much cheaper after release and seeing in hand images. You hear me Sideshow/Hot Toys.....done.....unless you give me a worth while exclusive. Nuff said.
