There's always so much more stuff by many more companies in the comics realm. For every Ned Stark figure, there's ten Tony Stark figures. And it's too hard to resist. Especially with the Batfleck and new Superman suits coming too, Deadpool, Cap 3, Daredevil (i hope), this is the sanest choice.

I would but I've seen you slandering Marvel and IM in the BTTF section :nana::nana::nana:

KA's released a bunch of 1:1 CA shields, 1:1 Loki staff, 1:4 Iron Patriot, and I think some smaller scale figures and other goodies but I can't remember atm.

You found me out. I'm actually a double agent working for Snyder. DC rules forevah! :devil

So, there's an excellent chance KA's 1/9 AoU will indeed be made unlike PI's 348 prototypes. Cool. :duff

I'm a stickler for accuracy too, but sometimes something has to give. Articulation is pretty much why I collect figures instead of statues. As much as I like the thicker neck, I'll take it trimmed down a bit if that results in the lesser of two evils
:exactly: :goodpost:

Looking at this again, I think the chest and overall physique on HT's Ultron Prime looks pretty good actually.

Nothing will be changed, people already put money down so why would they bother?? Just pointing out the flaws, not that it looks bad as it is. Still prefer the king arts one, much better proportions overall, but not as quality a finish.

While the king arts looks better proportion wise, it looks like a toy because of the bland finish. Whereas the HT one looks great due to the variations in colouring and slight weathering.
I like the King Arts figure, but I don't like how the "cheeks" look less emphasized and how they dropped certain details on the head sculpt such as the circle on his chin, the ridges on his "eyebrows" and the indent between his upper mouth (which was key in simulating his traditional jack o' lantern visage). They even added an unnecessary sculptural line on his "nose", which is completely absent on the CG render and HT's figure. Lastly, and probably the biggest one for me, is how it doesn't seem to have an articulated mouth/jaw.

That's where HT has won me over honestly. :clap

The design is growing on me... but hopefully they announce Ultimate Ultron before I pull the trigger on this one.

I agree with your points, and tbh I was just splitting hairs cause HT's proportions are pretty spot on anyway, just a point of discussion.

Same with me, I've resolved my issue of wanting him smaller than Thanos by displaying them separately. Now I just need to decide on which Ultron to get (first :lol) I have grown to really like the look of Prime but the glimpse of Ultimate in the recent tv spot has made me want to hold out and compare them both.
I still like sentry but I'm starting to dislike it more and more due to the design changes with the head and the asymmetrical design and hollow looking ab section. Seeing the film on Thursday so that will help me decide which to get.

This video makes the Prime look amazing tho, even unlit.

IMO he should come with a the throne he can sit on. But is that asking too much? There's like no bonus items/accessories included.

I really want to want to buy this, but just can't pull the trigger. I really want to see the drone pics/price as well as ultimate Ultron. This Ultrom comes with no accessories other than the stand. ugh.

I prefer the bulk of Ultimate.

It's the Captain America to the Steve Rogers that is Mark I.

That really annoyed me too. I was keen to get a Sentry until I started noticing the changes they've made...

I can see it now.

Mark I is pre-Super Soldier Steve, Prime is Steve in regular/civilian clothes, Ultimate is Cap in full uniform. :rotfl

and the stand sucks :rotfl
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love the unique gimmicky stand compared to the regular AOU stands. :monkey3

Yeah ok..... Its not that bad but is it unique? It just looks like one of those hpp iron man stands with a clear plastic A and some red LEDs :dunno
Very uninteresting imo

But it's an "A" with a tech-based design that lights up like Ultron, what's not to like?! :rotfl

(don't worry about it though, I know I'm in the minority when it comes to liking the stand haha :lol)

Try displaying it flat footed, facing forward, feet at should width, gonna be pretty annoying

So far, he looks fine on the stand in many of the con photos. Plus, I don't see why I would restrict myself with a generic museum pose anyway. :dunno

I'm going to put it on the top of back wall of my avengers display case and wire it so it can turn it on and off remotely. It should look cool with the A up over the team. I will just get a generic stand for Ultron.
