Is it just me or is it a total ***** to put the batteries in his arms. I can only get one in and then I can't for the life of me get the other battery in without being popping out the other one.

doesn't the little clear plastic tool help? or is it even a pain with that? usually when i use that everything goes fairly smoothly. unless the spring is a little stiffer than normal, that's when it gets really annoying.

i wish the batteries were all melded into one, it'd make it much easier.

beautiful. i don't know why, but seeing all of these great photos makes me want ultimate ultron even more. perhaps it's because since this one looks so great, an ultimate version would look just as great, if not better.

Nice pics Guy & Agent.

Do you guys use tweezers for the batteries? It makes life much easier

We all keep hoping on Ultimate but I'm wondering if it's even a consideration. I'm not sure if there would be reuse from Prime. Isn't ultimate taller than Prime?

A few pages back people were making various statements about HK prices going up and down according to demand etc.

I was always told that HK doesn't have a retail or recommended price system in place. In that alot of things are just decided on the spot between the seller and the buyer. Especially when things don't have price tags (even in shopping centers). Is this true?

Tweezers would have been good. The batteries were a pain

You don't have to get the SS kit necessarily, but these are the bare basic tools that every collector should have handy for sanity and survival

And a mini needle nose like the one in this set comes in extremely handy for basic stuff like getting hand, foot, neck pegs out that are stuck. I use a regular sized needle nose pretty often too

Just a tip for you guys who don't have this stuff handy. It'll save you time, stress and teeth :lol

Haha even with the tools provided with the figure, it was still hard as hell for me to get the batteries in the arms. At least I had no problems with getting the batteries into the head and back.

The little plastic sticks that come with some figs are not good for much more than lifting accessories out of the tray when they're hard to grab. Same with the crapoy plastic tweezers that were in the Vader set.

It's night a day if you use real metal tweezers (flat/wide head, not the pointy ones). Makes things much quicker and simpler

The base is awesome on this with the lights and all. Part of me kinda wishes they made a similar stand just like it for Loki except with that glossy glass like black and blue Avengers logo that was with the first film.

Had to more pics of this dude in different lighting and it's such a stunner. Just wish there was a way I could find to keep this dude lit up all the time.

yeah, i think it's a little bit taller than prime.. but i don't think by much. the lower half of ultimate looks very similar to prime, it's just the upper chest/arms/head that are really different. and those differences might add some more height to it. but i don't think it's a major difference.

really? i've always had pretty good success using the plastic tool.. the paddle part really helps, i just need to hold it closer to the base so that it doesn't bend as much. and then once each battery is in, i just push down on them when i pull the plastic tool out.

i've tried using the base of my tweezers.. but the base of my tweezers is a little too thick, so it doesn't work as well. i'm not really able to fit in the final battery if i use them. but yeah, the base of tweezers would work better than the plastic tool.

:exactly: :goodpost:

Not once have I ever used a "tool" that HT has provided in a set.

I just got an email from Sideshow which says they expect this in their warehouse May-June. Looking like I won't be getting this until mid June-early July.

After the workout of getting him out of his layers of packaging and getting those ridiculously tiny batteries in, he's finally lit up. Quick crappy pic. Will try to post more later.

Welp, you can't say Timcent doesn't protect your figures well. :lol

Yeah I got that same type of packaging too, which was a first for Timcent. He usually double boxes when I get figures from him. Part of me thinks that he had to pack this figure differently due to the different box dimensions than regular hot toys figures. But at least got to us safe and sound.
