Hulkbuster is way too freakin big in the movie :gah:

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I can honestly say, Hulk makes all my other figures look so much better...I'd say he's a must in a collection...I don't understand the hate for him...my collection would look weird without him...lol

I have issues with the current Hulk figure, but that doesnt mean I don't want it :lol

I was about to buy it recently but decided to wait and see what differences the new one brings.

He can fly ! The more I think this figure over, it has to cost no less than $700. I can see this big guy costing $1000

I wonder if the possessed eyes will be a PERS option or a new separate HS

The exposed joints all over the place kills it for me. I can't have something like that in my collection. If they make a power pose Hulk I will get him.

Yeah I hate exposed joints or seams on a character like Hulk or Drax(upper body)

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

the weathering paint app on the prototype is amazing! but now i am not so sure that the same
would apply to the final product, especially after the "igor gate".

the weathering work seems cost a lot to HT, and if they apply it on the final product, the price would be
over $1000 i think!

I hate the exposed joints on all characters, I especially hate it when they have unnecessary ugly seems..., a good example of that would be Hawkeye's head/neck seem, totally avoidable & could easily be changed.

Yes I could care less about excessive articulation for the head, I'd much prefer if the head and neck were sculpted together

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I dunno, after what ThreeZero was able to accomplish with its Titanfall Atlas figure, for under $450, I'd be disappointed if HT doesn't surpass it with HB, especially at what will most likely be $700+.

To me, swapping Mark XLIII into and out of the figure is not only unnecessary, it's unreasonable. Asking for/expecting a good amount of articulation isn't.

If you have yet to watch it, I highly recommend Clipper's review of Atlas. I think that release sets the standard as far as high-end, finely-detailed, large-scale robot figures go. HT would be wise to take notice.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Thanks for bringing that up YankeesFanboy. I feel like ThreeZero just issued a direct challenge to Hot Toys with that Atlas figure. Hot Toys would have never delivered a product that big and intricate for under $450. The articulation is great and the weathering is outstanding. I hope it sells like hot cakes and Hot Toys takes it as a challenge.

No problem, man! :duff I'm not getting Atlas, but I think you are, right? It looks outstanding, I hope you enjoy it.

In light of that figure, I've done a complete 180 on HB. When I first saw HB at Toy Soul, I was thinking we'd be lucky if we got very basic, very rudimentary articulation. And I'd be fine with that.

But after seeing some more of HB in action in yesterday's trailer, not to mention Clip's review of Atlas, why can't HT raise its game and give us articulation out the wazoo? Especially at those prices?

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

More articulation would be cool but to be honest even in a static pose hulkbuster looks great. The articulation isn't really a deal breaker for me. The price could be on the other hand. I'm thinking it will be around the $700 mark or in and around the same price as the delorean.
