If there's $500+ worth in the Hulkbuster figure they produce, then yes, I'll most likely get it at that price. I'm not going to pay they're asking price simply because it's Hot Toys.

As long as stick to my plan of only collecting IMs then I can afford him. If I end up branching out into other HT stuff(like I typically do) then no.

I wonder just how much articulation it could possibly have. I mean, I would never pay 1000, or even 500 if its just going to stand there.

I guess you could try to gauge the price by looking at one of HT more recent 'larger' 1/6 scale products. Example: the HT DeLorean is $700 with a bunch of small details, light up features and is overall a large piece. Hulkbuster is a HUGE piece, has light up features and will probably have some pretty impressive details (just more finite details than the DeLorean). Personally, I think it will be more than the DeLorean. I could be wrong but just the sheer size of Hulkbuster makes me think it will be more expensive.

Price was my original concern, and I've saved every point I've ever earned with SSC with the idea that I would use them ALL on Hulkbuster.
Now the problem is, I don't know if I have room to put him anywhere - he's so freaking BIG!
So I may end up passing. Will decide when I see final specs.

Have a feeling many will end up passing due to the sheer size. Initially I thought about picking it up, too, just b/c something this massive's never been done, but size and (I presume) lack of articulation brought me back down to earth. Will be a very cool figure, nonetheless, and one I'll enjoy seeing photographed and in collections.

I've been saying since day one of the first Iron Man movie that we ever got a HulkBuster armor from HT's I'd be all over it. I still am too. I have a perfect spot for him in my collection. The only thing stopping me would be price.........and the wife.

The simple fact is, they could charge $1000 for this... and people would still buy it.
They know that Iron Man is their most successful character.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see about 10 different versions of Hulkbuster.

I honestly don't care how much it is, like MegaPrime33 said, i've also been expecting hulkbuster ever since the first avengers movie was announced and planned to get it from that point on, on the bad-ass factor alone... And I already love the way it looks. I can't wait to get it... I even held off on ordering the DeLorean because I'd rather have this. Marty's just gonna have to stand alone until they make Doc Brown.

I have literally nowhere for the Hulkbuster figure to go as it's just too big to fit anywhere BUT that won't get in the way of me owning one..., it'll go on the floor in front of my display area if nothing else..., it will be mine! The end. Well it would be if they'd go ahead & put the damn thing up for preorder already, I want it yesterday so getting this up & rolling asap can't happen too soon (for me anyway), waiting is painful enough BUT waiting for the wait to start is even worse. lol
