Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Since Igor is $510 and is also a figure that is unlikely to have parts that can be used for any other HT figure.. I'm going to estimate $650 to $700 for Hulkbuster, based on the fact I expect it to be at least a year, before it's actually available.. I'm hoping it will be less.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I don't think there will be much articulation. I mean Hulkbuster will be digital in the film, so it's not like an actual figure is going to be able to move the same way.

unfortunately if your right then..the cost of the Hulkbuster is off limits...very sad if it comes true ..as I really want this figure.

I'm basing that price, on the presumption Hulkbuster is going to be noticeably bigger than Hot Toy's Igor, and Sideshow's Jim Raynor figures.. it would be excellent if HT managed to keep it to $599.. but imho, that may be a bit optimistic.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Why does simple speculation about what something might cost, in a hobby we all love, cause such negativity? No one knows anything for sure, so why don't we just chill, mkay?

It's not the speculation that I said anything about. It's when guessing is presented as fact, or proof or a guarantee. and I'm not sure why it is when I say something it's instantly negative. The guy guaranteed something. And directed it at me. In a quoted response to me saying any price is possible, it's all just speculation. So why is it you can say it's speculaton. And the guy after you says basically the exact same thing I did, with an added dig at me, and I'm the guy that's negative? I'm the one that is saying something out of turn?

My post was solely based on reading your previous post and hearing it in my head as being negative towards someone else's post stating they "guarantee" something. Usually when people say they guarantee something that no one knows the truth of as of yet, it means they believe very strongly that said comment will occur, in this case the price of the figure. To me it seems like you took him at face value stating how can he guarantee something that no one knows about. The post felt negative to me, hence my post about all of us needing to just relax about everything. We'll find out all we need and want to know soon and everything until then is just fun fan conversation about possible outcomes.

Just to help convey scale, Hulkbuster's leg is almost the width of Igor's torso :

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

$749.95 just because heh realistically price is around $649.99-899.99 because we already have Igor @$510 and this is much bigger but higher than 800-900 would be too much for some or most collectors.. Thats my take but if HT can give us a HulkBuster with an MMS articulation ala Igor and they'll price him at around $500-600 then i will be more than happy to accept that =D

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Ok, after looking at that picture with Igor's torso compared to Hulkbuster's leg, this will easily be over 1 grand...

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

This will easily be 1k+ unless its some sort of power pose to reduce the price drastically.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

The size of this thing is just awesome. I am pretty sure I won't be able to afford it but it really is incredible.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Not sure of the size, but this mightbe a cheaper way to have Hulkbuster displayed with our Hot Toys.

EDIT: Nope it's 1/9th scale.

Over $1000 and they will not sell too many of them.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

It's hard to imagine just how big this figure is going to be. I mean my coffee table is 18" high and this is meant to be around 22" tall. This thing is just massive. I think it would have to be at least $800.
