I got mine from SSC on December 24th. I thought all the pre-orders were filled already.

Mine isn't. The final payment for him for me is due some time at the end of next month. Last time I looked, I think he still was listed as PO on SSC, as opposed to a buy it now. Does SSC currently have him in stock then?

I highly recommend this figure.
As with any figure, there will always be some minor gripes. However, don't miss the boat on this one!

Wow, loving everyone's pics! It's making the wait until February harder, but glad he turned out so well.

If i use paypal to make payment for this order, do SS still charge me the NRD?

Great pose and picture QuiGonFishing ^^^^ :clap

I don't know it its just the photography, but the likeness is really good in those pictures. His face doesn't seem as chubby as mine does in hand. I wonder how much variance there is between products in the sculpts? Again, might be none, and the difference I am seeing may be because of the lighting and lens being used. Anyway- that looks great.

Just saw this review, and I really like the pose he goes with for Luke. It's dynamic and takes advantage of the practice droid accessory along with the ability to shift the peg to place the figure off center on the stand. I might try something similar (minus the wrong belt for the scene)...

Thanks Jaymas! Really glad you like these..!

It's all lighting and angle. If you go back a page or so you'll see my group shot in ambient. And I think you'll agree mine is exactly like all the rest. Some of the puffiness you're describing is likely disappearing into the contrlled shadow I'm creating in those shots. But even in normal light, there are several "sweet spots" you can find in terms of viewing angle that make this piece look extremely close to the prototype. In othewords, breathtaking.

If Vader is the likeness home run off the series so far, this is easily the walk off triple...

I watched the video review posted above and the guy mentions why he wears latex gloves and got me thinking. All I do is wash my hands before handling. Sometimes I haven't even done that. Now I'm wondering, who is in the majority? The people that wear gloves or the people that don't just from this community.

The NRD is just a non-refundable portion of your payment, made up front to secure the order if you're not paying right away - incentive not to cancel. When you pay by PayPal you can't defer payment and you have to pay for the whole figure immediately.

I wear them only because I naturally have sweaty hands but most people just needs to wash hands before handling the figures.

i don't like the egg head. and he looks like he has boston terrier eyes. each eye going opposite directions.

other than that, he is very good.

and btw, screw SS and their shipping....my luke has been sitting 3 towns over from me since the 28th!! not moved once. i called ups and they said due to the shipping the sender selected, this package has the least priority of delivery due to holiday volume.

SS you sons of *******.

my little non-canon re-imagination of Luke as a young Jedi Knight, before he became all craggy and severe as a Jedi Master haha

this is a solid figure - can't wait for HT to do a ROTJ Luke soon!

That's all on UPS, not SSC. They forgot to tell you that the other options are priority and overnight and carry a much higher price to offer an on-time guarantee.
