I don't think its the Jnix sculpt you don't like... I think its the camera angle and the paint:

Now THAT is better. The eyes are still a bit wonky and still a bit bulbous/large but man is that an upgrade on the others I've seen.

It's really only in the more side angles that you start to see the too-deep eye misalignment - in the more head-on shots and slight sideways it's not that visible, and that's pretty much how you'd display it.

Here's the pic I posted earlier showing it from the side...

Prefer this head over the HT.

Not perfect, but more like Mark Hamill than Tom Cruise at least :)

Should I use the $30 coupon to buy this guy? He comes with a lot of extras (that I will not use for display). Just wish he was free shipping like Han.

Those autographed nameplates are incredibly badass!!!

Thanks. Took me a while to acquire them. Had the plaques custom made then got the autographs. Even had a plaque made for Carrie fisher as I was planning on seeing her again [emoji22]

I didnt care for the tunic Hot Toys produced, so I made my own from a t-shirt. Longer and better material. I also swapped and painted his hair and used a different body.

Looks good, but I'd run an iron over the tunic. Its a bit wrinkly. Unless you're going for the morning after the night before at the Tosche station and those crazy power converters!

I wrinkled it on purpose. Perhaps a tad too much...

He certainly didn't skip chest day. Is the base from something else or did you make it?

I made the base from styrofoam and cement filler. Very lightweight.

My apologies ahead of time. I'm sure you put a lot of work into it. But I almost feel like I've seen him outside a 7 Eleven asking for money.
