I also feel that explaining this purchase to a wife or partner would somehow be harder than explaining other purchases. You buy a Jedi Luke outfit, they roll their eyes. You buy a 1/6 scale white dress...

No. That's the Tony Mei prototype... which he has since decided not to make. Personally, I didn't care for the material he used on that proto -- too thick and not enough volume, and still a bit short.

Nevertheless, Toni's prototype should be a good reference exhibit and a reasonable representation of what Yusil's effort should look like. In other words, get in line while you still can!

I remember having a crap load of these things. Probably still do, somewhere. I had this one, Vader, Boba Fett, Lando, Solo, a myriad of Stormtroopers, AT-AT Driver (I think), TIE Fighter Pilot, Luke, Pilot Luke, and many more.

I remember I had the TIE Fighter, X-Wing and the speeder bike as well, that came with the exclusive Scout Trooper figure.

That dress is an improvement in some ways but still a ways off. The folds are better, but her waist is pretty creepy in those shots.

God, she's ugly there. What a disservice. I can't believe I have this.

When these first came out I was working in a comic shop and they were selling for a lot of $$ for then. I remember Leia was the most expensive and was like $40-$50. And the shop sold a lot of them at that price. The others were going for more than $20. I'll never forget it because i thought they were crazy to spend that kind of $$ on them. I wasn't too thrilled with the shop owner jacking the prices up either, but i had no say. I was just out of high school starting college
