Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

Nice grouping, guyver!

I think Hoth and Bespin Escape Leia could be 1 release: just have switch-out hair and a set of gloved and ungloved hands. Otherwise everything is the same.

Same with ROTJ. The Endor poncho and helmet are just add-ons to her fleet military outfit.

And I had forgotten about her Ewok goddess look! Yikes! That’s A LOT of leg she’s showing! I see London, I see France, but I actually don’t see...

Love Hoth Leia. Would love to get a Luke with Tauntaun as well.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

Make this trio of outfits happen HT Please!

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

I thought he meant the Bespin Escape look. That's my personal favourite.

Oh yeah, you might be right. I just think of Hoth Leia as the main ESB look, but he did mention "hair loops." My hair braid terminology is a little lacking.

I don't see how they could make a Slave Leia figure that looks good. There would be exposed joints all over that would look terrible or they would do the rubberized stuff like Gamora that would basically make it impossible to pose. If you just like the outfit and want her standing straight up with arms hanging down then it would be fine, but other than that it wouldn't live up to what I think people's expectations are (laying beside Jabba, any action pose, etc...).

Mad Old Lu, I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed all that leg & MORE Carrie was showing off in that "Ewok Goddess" outfit! Wow! She definetly forgot to put something on while she got dressed in costume for some promo pics...

Fine..here's a more subtle pic :wink1:

I only used that one because it showed the full dress, hard to find an actual Carrie in Ewok dress full shot without it being a fan in cosplay

I found this though

I wonder with any of these versions, will HT keep doing sculpted hair :dunno

Those eyes, boy did HT nail her eyes :clap

Don't know how posable the Phicen bodies are but I saw a pretty amazing Slave Leia custom using one recently. If they went that route you wouldn't have to worry about any joints.

Here's a link to some of the photos. Was pretty blown away to be honest:

Does anyone have a pic of what the exclusive backdrop looks like? I guess I've skimmed too quickly through the posts to find one. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Phicen seamless are the best out there trust me. Would be perfect for slave Leia

You can't a better anatomically correct yet posable female figure to date.

No doubt that looks good. Pillows/chains/clothing do a small bit to conceal the joint areas. I'd be curious as to the long term effects in that pose and also how many other poses it can do (I have no experience with the Phicen bodies).

I could show you my Phicen seamless collage of articulation but then I would be roasted on this thread

I'll take your word for it then.:lol

The question then becomes: Could Hot Toys actually make the figure with the Phicen body or their own version of it? Or would we be left to buying a HT figure and also finding the right size/type of Phicen to cobble together our own custom version?

It would be a huge undertaking for them. I honestly won't hold my breath. If it happens, great. My wallet will cry, but I can die a happy man with two Slave Leia's. :lol
