I would like to see HT at least make a figure of Scott, it's unfair that they go balls deep on other films like Cap and Iron Man and the newer entries get the shaft.

Well the popularity of those guys surpasses Ant-Man by quite a bit, but that's why a full headsculpt of Rudd would've at least given the option for a more Scott oriented pose, over Ant-Man with his visor up shot. One of my favourite figures is Mechanic Tony because it mixes just enough Iron Man with even more Tony Stark, who I find far more entertaining than Iron Man -- if that makes sense! :lol So yeah, a more Scott-centric figure would've been great!

I'd never say never, but odds are this will be one of those feelers to see how much interest there is by just putting out Ant-Man and Yellow Jacket. I may not be correct, and it may all just be personal preference, but I'd have to think this figure would sell better had they done a full Rudd sculpt as well.

$234, no exclusive. Might have to go elsewhere to avoid tax on top of the NRD. I like it.

I really want this figure, but i think I'll wait to order. Too many figures releasing at once my head is about to explode, lmao.. I have my eyes on the evil dead ash figure atm

I'm surprised they didn't put an EX with this guy to helps surge sales a bit. I'm sure a lot of collector's are feeling Avengers burnout in terms of how much the entire line added up to in the end! With no EX here, there's no reason not to wait for discounts to balance out the price a bit.

I love the design of the suit, and how it's coloured. They did a fantastic job bringing the MCU Ant-Man to life in Hot Toy form. I think not having the headsculpt approved this far into it also doesn't help things. Odds are (from what you can see from the blur) it'll look quite solid, but it'd be that much worse to PO it early for no real reason and then find out the Rudd sculpt is just way off. Probably won't happen, but it's just another reason to hold off for now.

It took a few months before Star-Lord's image popped up unblurred. Hopefully this one won't take as long.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Ant-Man: Ant-Man Collectible Figure

Usually when a portrait is included at least they show it in a blurred version in the pics. But no portrait here. However this description -

featuring a newly developed helmeted head sculpt with authentic likeness of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in the movie and LED light-up function when helmet is closed,

Implies we'll at least have Rudd with the faceplate open. (Or that's how I choose to read it.)

What? They showed the blurred helmeted sculpt...

First figure in a while that I don't feel like placing a PO right away. Don't get me wrong, I want the figure but with no EX I don't feel the rush to add it to my already massive PO list.

There is no 'oomph' to this figure for me. It looks cool but it just has no wow factor, making me rush to preorder it. I trust my gut here, and will not get this.

Main figure looks good but such a missed opportunity with the little one in that static pose. They shoulda had a 1/6, 1/12 and this little one in a dynamic pose all together
