Going by Hong Kong sellers on Ebay I am guessing we will see $219.99-229.99 from SS.

Where is it :impatient:

Probably up in 20 minutes, give or take a minute (3pm).

Well that's pretty much how it'd be without Honk Kong sellers on Ebay! :lol Just go off of any recent Avengers release, and the average is about $224.99. That's a decent average, and I hope they keep it around there for a while. There's so much on deck with DC, and even more Marvel coming up that I think they'll make a lot more if they keep it in a range where people order full lines still.

I would've preferred an unhelmeted Rudd HS but this still looks like a solid figure for the Ant-Man fans. I was gonna wait for the CW version anyway, rumor is that his suit gets a modern refresh for that film plus I'm not sure if I want a Giant-Man or Ant-Man figure in my collection yet.

I think it just looks like that's his helmet through the eye-holes. From what I can tell it's actually the reflection of them in whatever lighting they're shooting with bouncing off the lenses.

I'm not sure I follow what your saying.

I was referring to the photo where the Hs is blurred. The face plate that's up has no lenses in it. I don't know if that's some swappable face plate, or what. Given they said its one head, that lights up, that would be strange. Maybe it's just one prototype. Who knows. But we have seen the helmet with the plate down and not light up and the lenses are not clear so there's something different. Could be that when the face plate goes up the lenses retract..but that would be a lot of extra work for something no one would really care about. So, like I said, just curious to see what direction they take it. And here's a cut out of that part I mentioned to see it better..

Edit-I think I now get what your saying...could be. But the lenses should be darker. We've seen them when it's off...so not sure that's the case.

May be right. Probably are.

Edit-your correct. It's an alienbee light.

Yeah, it's tricky to see, so it's easy to see why they looked like they were missing when it's as small as it is in the promo pic. It's all light trickery! I do think it's a cool way to do the helmet though...it's nice to have the options all in one over having to yank out an alternate open-mask sculpt! (Though I'd still have loved a full Rudd headsculpt as well/instead.)

As for the pricing, $234.99 is probably $10 more than I expected, but my guess is that the miniature Ant-Man that LOOKS to be fully articulated in the legs and arms is what added to the cost. And it's a great extra that I'd rather have than not, so it makes more sense there.

I'll wait and see what the local cost (Canada) will be and decide which route to go from there. Something tells me it may be cheaper to wait and slap a coupon on this guy over going locally, but we shall see!

Unless the miniature figure isn't possible. It's so hard to tell...some of the images look like they could be the smaller Ant-Man figure, but I think they would've sold it as that. It'd be a lot more disappointing if the small Ant-Man wasn't articulated...but I'd have to think he is. I'm pretty sure he was posed on the Avengers display he was in.

But the more I look at the pictures, the more it seems like the figure is just a small collectable figure without the ability to pose, and the shots in the promo images where it looks like a smaller Ant-Man is just the figure itself made to look like it's "smaller." That'd be quite unfortunate.

Yeah I agree about the helmet. Having it integrated is a nice advancement. I hate swapping heads. Was just doing that on a black Spider-Man and got irritated and he nearly went for a fight out the window. Lol so it will be nice to have at least one that doesn't have that. Lol

This one is getting the exact opposite reaction to Maria Hill. :lol It's the clear, "Oh, no exclusive? Well, may as well save $20!" vibe going on, as there doesn't seem to be any worry about it selling out in the next few months. Plus, the cost being about $5-10 more than most anticipated probably makes the $215 it'll end up being with a coupon sound that much nicer!

Yeah, I'm someone who kinda poses something the way I like it, and rarely changes it. That's mainly why I wanted a Rudd headsculpt, as I would've loved him holding the helmet, just standing there. Ideal pose for me, which leads to more hesitation with ordering as I'd like one down the road. That said, having it all in one definitely makes it nicer.

Swapping out parts can get frustrating for sure! You can only do it so many times before something snaps -- be it you or the figure! :lol

I would like to see HT at least make a figure of Scott, it's unfair that they go balls deep on other films like Cap and Iron Man and the newer entries get the shaft.
