Yeah don't say :rolleyes2 :lol

You know it! :lol ;) quite honestly I think this will definitely be the last figure I buy for a while. Not just because I need to save and get my own place but these prices are killing me. Not getting any cheaper.

$235 with no second sculpt, yet for $225 we got Cap with two sculpts. Also, the one inch figure does not make up for a whole sculpt, if I get it he will be under the Hulkbusters foot getting stomped.

Hot Toys going for max profit on this release. Once again, Im not sure how they can justify the price of this.

I wanna pre-order this but I am also tempted to get Ultron Mk I and Wanda....and hopefully Pietro as well. I AM glad though that this line is most likely only going to be two figures though.

Sometimes I envy the Marvel only collectors. After AoU figures its full steam ahead for me into A New Hope, then The Force Awakens, then Civil War, the BvS/Suicide Squad (Well, possibly), followed up with Infinity Wars, then Star Wars Episode 8, Justice League.....

There is no end in sight.

They know completionists will pay it

I think the articulation is going to suck for this. SS doesn't even list the articulation points. Looks like another Arkham Batman articulation mess :thud:

I've been feeling the same lately. Not even the price but just the hobby in general. I love the MCU and it's figures as much as the next guy but it's becoming so damn saturated. I'm not one to complain since I understand that it makes them the most money but lately it's just becoming boring to me. We get the same figures every single year, yet other licenses are left to dry and I get why they do it but it just doesn't excite me as much anymore. I'm going to hold off on a lot of the MCU figures until it's their final reiteration of it. Infinity War is most likely the next MCU movie where I get back into getting a bunch of MCU figures.

Really wish they would do some more exciting licenses that people are asking for.

The visor flips up

I like it, but not at that price. :slap

I wish they included a mini figure riding an ant or something. That would have been really cool.

I get that the price was a little more than what we thought it would be but it's a really nice figure. I'm getting this one before the Avengers 3 version. Not really wanting to pay avengers tax on him later. I thought this was about $10 too much.

Bought it anyways. Love Rudd and can't wait to get this next year!

I do think he needs a second unmasked sculpt and a loose helmet, but the complexity of the suit makes me a little less queasy about the price. I honestly expected this. That being said, a collection of various sized mini Ant Men in different poses would have been a nice inclusion. I'm sure someone has pointed out already, but the blue vs red vials/belt buckle probably indicate growing vs shrinking, I would assume.

Well that's not a fair comparison bud. That Cap HS got used twice at least. The suit was the same pattern just altered, the shield comes from the same tooling used before...the cost of that figure was spread out over three plus releases.

There is nothing shared on this. If hot toys really wanted to go for max profits it wouldn't be 234 it would be 300. Or at least 250. They use a formula to figure out the price. It's the same they use on every marvel figure pretty much. (Basically add a set margin percentage (profit) to the cost and that's your final amount)

Even if you don't believe that, by your own logic it's still right around the right price. As I explained above. Reused HS and shield and gloved hands and whatnot. And yes the cost of the little figure factors in.

That little figure is no more than $3, if that. Vision was $220, whole new figure, this is $15 more. I usually don't complain about HT pricing, this just seems a bit much.

I did not realize the Cap sculpt was sold twice, bad comparison on my part, then again that two pack along with the Stealth Suit is, Im assuming, selling bad, not that it really matters in this case.

I should clarify my maximum profit statement, within reason of maximum profit. If this was $300 I don"t think many would buy this, throw on $10, $15, $20 more no one really seems to notice let alone care. Not that the added price makes or breaks me, seeing the movie tomorrow, will probably go ahead and PO, but the small price increase is annoying.
