Looks good, thanks! And I can definitely see it helping tie it together with WM. I have started a WTB for the MkVI stand, so we will see if I get lucky! (I plan to have Whiplash on his stand so may as well have 3 different ones).

Probably means too expensive period. Can't really argue that. Even though I did PO within the hour it was available it was purely because it's my grail armor. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but it would've been nice to wait so I could drop a $20 code on this. Honestly though the ex would've been WL'd within days, if not sooner.

Probably won't wait-list until next year. Still too early and just way too many other figures coming out now.

Can't believe the Ex is still available.

exclusives dont sell out like they used to, too much **** being pumped out, and almost every fig is available at time of release so there's no incentive to tie up multiple NRD's over the course of a year when it doesnt stop coming

I could see myself buying this...but it would have to be at a time closer to release and I've earned the figure. Like I haven't bought anything near the release or there aren't any POs I care for.
The suit has grown on me for sure.

Yeah but I'm not even ordering off of Sideshow. I will be buying directly from HK from an eBay seller I've grown accustomed to. I think I will be getting this. I just want to make absolutely sure I do want it and I'm going to wait until the Spring possibly and if there is nothing else that overtakes my interest in the Mark VI too much than I will purchase at that time. The only other figure I really really want to purchase is the 1/4 Vader. There isn't much else...so I think the VI is one I'll get.

I can't really justify another Iron Man. But this one looks amazing and I think it would make a nice piece to have.

I get that. There are just a ton of HT figures coming out. Faster, more numerous than before. But I'm really not interested in too much more. I figure Mark VI, 1/4 Vader....
Maybe the newer Delorean. Nothing is really there for me right now on POs besides MKVI.

I get that. There are just a ton of HT figures coming out. Faster, more numerous than before. But I'm really not interested in too much more. I figure Mark VI, 1/4 Vader....

This seems more like your personal view based on your own wallet lol.

Hot Toys is releasing figures since it is their business to do so.
For you to tell them otherwise is a bit much..

I agree.

It'd be different to me if they kept releasing the same figure over and over again only with a slight difference here and there.. But that's not the case. Everything they're doing is appealing to the collectors of each franchise.

I mainly collect iron man, house party armors, and villains.. I'd really hate it if I had to wait even longer between releases because they're pushing out figures from different franchises.

I'll agree that it's tough for people who collect everything to keep up with releases.. But that doesn't mean it's over saturated.

If you guys can keep up with buying 3 figures a month and Iron Man every 2 and another version of an Avenger every year, all the power too you.
