Dr Strange is at SDCC and its already shipping in HK
I thought he was getting a re-release for Thor Ragnarok? Figured that was why he was in the display…

You know, I was not a big fan of this armor at the time (I think because I was still more attached to the Mark 3)... but after rewatching IM2 and Avengers for the first time in a while, I can finally see what people love about it so much and am really wanting to order one now. 
All I really wanted was to have one more "classic-style" armor next to the sleeker Mark 46, and I naturally assumed the DC Mark 3 would be it. But with the size and the bright coloring those two just don't fit well together, while the proportions on this look a whole lot better and more in line with the 46.
Just not sure I want to spend another $350 yet though...

You'll love it. I have 4 plastic Mk. VI's (2 Avengers, 2 IM2) and the SS 1/4 Statue. First statue I ever bought.

I'm going to order this as soon as I get a code, not a big discount but better than nothing. Avengers is one of my favorite movies. Mark VI is one of my favorite toys and I bet this is going to be amazing.
Yeah not only was the VI just a cool looking armor, but I love that we actually got to see it in some pretty badass action scenes across two different movies. Which makes it seem just a bit more unique somehow.

I was surprised also. They showed the MK5, which comes out a few months after the MK6 but not the MK6. Hopefully there isn't some sort of delay incoming

I agree with all you guys. Maybe we're just reading too much into it, but it does seem odd. It has never been displayed at Secret Base and it wasn't at SDCC or ACGHK this year, all 3 of which the Mk5 has been at, and this is scheduled to come out before the Mk5. Even the Mk2 made it to ACGHK...
Wouldn't they want to tout this armor at these major events to create more buzz and potentially draw in more buyers, especially with it releasing later this year?
I'm okay with a minor delay (not like the HB) as long as it's in the name of making it better. It'd just be nice to get an update to see where this is at (like the HB).

This will be my first and only Iron Man 1/6 figure.
...and I've wanted one since HT very first started doing them, so I've been waiting a long time to be in a position to get one! I'm so pleased I'm getting such a cool looking one!
I don't really 'collect' figures in the same way that most of you guys do (the "I'll buy everything HT releases" attitude) ....I'm more..
mixed, in what I collect. This is some of my stuff behind me in my studio where I paint my commissions. Helmets, 1/6 TARDIS with The Doctor,
actual bank note from the Serenity movie, license plates, lightsaber made with a vintage Graflex camera flash just like the first ones were... and so on. A random mix.
But I DO need a good Iron Man figure... and I'm glad it's this one! Can't wait!
