I have an extra HOA bay and I plan to put my plastic Mark VI in the bay and use one of the 4 channel RF Remotes to light it up.

I channel for each of the Mark 6 light circuits and 1 channel for the entire bay.

Does anyone think they would eventually redo all the house party suits in die cast?
I think it's unlikely but I just can't say for sure.

Doubt it

I'm hoping for a nice youtube review of this guy before I bite. There's currently two but they're not in english and I'd like to hear opinions on it. lol

Not my picture, but daaaamn!

This figure is so close to perfect. Man, I really hope there's an easy way to mod the chest so the entire triangle looks illuminated. Having only the bottom half lit up really bothers me. Hate that a figure can be so close to perfect yet I still find myself focusing on flaws :slap

Are there any particular concerns you have that you are waiting for more information about? Personally, I think we have seen enough to know this figure looks to be a home run.

Yeah but I'd want to see a review first that I can fully understand, so I get what he's saying. And this is coming from somone who preordered a year ago ;)

Yea that arc reactor stands out because the figure looks so damn good! I unfortunately can't revisit the old armors because of other hobbies now and I already have the original 7. Which is fine for me to use as hoa display..but if I used them as stand-alones to pose often diecast would be a must. I did replace mk3 for diecast and upgraded mk1 to 2.0

I'm really not sure why the Triangle isn't filled. Was the old version filled at all?

I would echo Shane here. No major concerns. It's just nice to get opinions on the figure and hear little details you might not know about until in person.

I can totally understand that. I just tend to care more about reviews before I decide to buy if I have some sort of concern about something concerning the figure or if I am on the fence about it. I was just curious about what one could hear or see on a review about this particular figure at this point that would effect if they bought it or not? Not dismissing the preference for liking to see reviews, just wondering about the thought process behind what collectors are looking for in making a buying decisions regarding this figure if they haven't decided to pre-order it already.

Ah. I'm one thats still on the fence. It's clearly a beautiful figure. So I'm really just looking for those little details a review can give you that seals the deal. I'm typically a very careful collector anyway. So I tend really dig into what a figure has to offer and gather a number of opinions. Being that way has solved a lot of headaches with figures like Deadpool and even the recent Ghostbusters.

One tip I can already sadly give is that switching out the forearm gauntlets to missile mode is a pain in the ***.
All the pieces are easily breakable, and I broke the one with next to no pressure :(

Ahh... gotcha. I've been there too and when I am on the fence I sometimes watch reviews hoping they will sell me on it or help me feel better about passing on it. I sometimes follow threads in a forum for the same reason.

That stinks. But thanks for letting us know about the issue. Any pictures?

I will take some pics tonight… was really frustrated with it last night, going to attempt to glue the three pieces back together…
not sure how that is going to go.

The other thing that is odd about this guy is no other damaged pieces, except the helmet and chest… would have
been nice for at least the shoulder pads and make a forearm like War Machine Mark 1.

I know it was solicited with what it came with, but pairing the damaged figures up would look better with a bit more
damage to the Mark VI, IMO.

Aw man sorry to hear that. I broke 2 gold pieces on my Mk46 on the same forearm rocket. Both were easily glued back on but I had no idea they were so fragile.

Regarding reviews, I love them! It's not to seal the deal for me. When I like something, I just like to get as much info on it as possible. I also just like hearing people's opinions. Sometimes they can give you a heads up on things, such as Dino Ranger White, and sometimes it's just genuinely interesting to see and hear other people's excitement regarding a figure. That's probably weird, but it entertains me.

I agree that there could have been a few more B/D parts. I'm a huge fan of Battle Damage so the more B/D parts the happier I'd be.

I love reviews as well. Brings hype to a figure you are interested in. I can't wait to see more reviews.

I just bought the Whiplash Mark II so I'll be pairing it up with the 6 and WM. Late XMas for me [emoji318]

How does this guy look next to other HT MCU figures. Like Thor, Cap, or any non armored figure. From the pics of him with the older MKVI, which he towers over, doesn't he look too big and out of scale? Still don't understand why they changed these new DC Iron Man Figures I don't own any yet, but they all look a little too big to me.

I would just caution that there's a point where too many interchangeable parts hinders the joy of a figure; I once owned the plastic Mark VI, and you could hardly look at the thing without a piece falling off (the thigh panels were especially bad). The diecast figures seem to do a much better job of striking that balance but also making sure the pieces fasten firmly in place.

That sucks. I never had that issue with mine. I did, however, break the forearm bits. Fragile.

Aren't the old ones too small? That's been my understanding. And the last Iron Man I had (the very first Mark III) was definitely too small to be a suit of armor with a man inside.
