The boxes are a tad closer to the buckle on the OWK version. Maybe a mm at most. Not enough to make a huge difference. The depth is the same on both.

Decided to purchase this Vader, my favorite movie out of the OT and I only want one Vader, and I hated the OWK show so this was an easy decision. Got the Onesixthkit Vader cape as well the OWK boots since they're more accurate.

Anyone know someone who still makes full leather Vader suits?

That looks pretty good.
Is it the lighting, or is the gunmetal on the helmet a few shades darker than on the chest armor, though?

The RoTJ vader figure finally has screen accurate paint tones for the black and grays, it's what you're seeing.

It’s whatever the camera and lighting are picking up.

I hear you. I just happened to have an extra pair of OWK boots to use on this. I’m using sideshow’s soft goods. I like the way they cling to the figure.

The OWK boots are certainly better. I went out of my way to buy some loose.

Thanks for sharing. Looks pretty good. I just ordered one myself just in case this cape PO gets cut off from OSK like the different leather suits have. Only thing it needs is the proper neck chain which can be taken from any of the HT capes.

I will say, I’m a little disappointed that it’s so see through/thin judging by how the light from the base is almost clearly being seen at the bottom edge. I guess it’s not that big of an issue if you don’t have that base, though.

Jaxon recently posted that he’s supposed to be making a new version of his capes with leather cape color and accurate chain.

Personally I like the real neck chain compared to the plastic HT ones, but yeah definitely not a fan of how thin the material is. Feels cheap. But it wasn't very expensive.

I get that. I’d feel the same except the real chain they’ve included isn’t movie accurate so it just sticks out to me. Good thing is that it appears to be easily removable

I know others have used this ROTJ Vader helmet for a ESB kitbash, and in Empire, the chain is barely visible so NBD.

I would guess it should given that the helmets fit on the OWK Vader body

Anyone else have trouble putting the OWK boots on the ROTJ body? Seems the bodysuit is much more loose around the ankles as compared to the OWK one.

The OWK boots are tailored for thinner shins, so it’s going to be a tighter fit if you’re swapping.
