dude ! they are awsome games. why do you think evryone was pumped for colonial marines. because of gearbox.
colonial marines is a bad game but I have played both borderlands and they are awsome trust me.

That's either some epic pole-squatting going on at the Gearbox forum, or some employees are trying to downplay the bad reviews.

This is like a drama that keeps unfolding on a daily basis. The game is just so utterly horrible that I can't stop reading about it

Wow. I'm not saying it's the crappiest game ever, but it's actually close, but I'm confused as to how far off the norm his view is.

He must've gotten really high, sat down to watch Aliens while holding his Xbox controller, and mistakenly thought he was playing Colonial Marines.

If u own a want a good aliens game and you have a nintendo DS grab Aliens infestation instead. Plays like metroid, its pretty good and has better graphics. The aliens take about 15 clips and the blood actually damages you.

And this is the reason I can't take video game critics seriously.....to give this game a 9.0, Sega had to have paid them off, cause it wouldn't happen otherwise

The guy's Youtube video did a better comparison job than that IGN article. Why are they comparing promo shots when they can compare "in-game demo" footage?

And like the Youtube video states, all the promo shots and demo footage shows dynamic lighting. The game doesn't have dynamic lighting. That's false advertising.

Right, so I'm never shocked to see a handful of reviews that are way out of the norm. There are some people in the world who have horrible taste, and likely some of them are reviewers of games, movies, music, etc. Ghostrider does not have a 0% Rotten Tomatoes rating, for example. We don't need to assume that someone is a shill for a game company.
