Hey, Les, where could you have got the Kristina Lokken (excuse my spelling of her name!) for the decent price of $39.00? On eBay? Do you think one is still on there if it was on eBay? What was the title of it? 3rd...something? I guess 12" female figure bare hands are really hard to find?! I'll keep looking...

As for a series 3 of the ALIENS marines I'd love to see a Bishop with "rooted hair" and a "tear-apart" torso feature!Private Frost, and possibly...Ferro with her flightsuit and cool hemet with the "I Fly The Friendly Skies" tagline on it, with her big shades aka sunglasses. She'd be the last cool female I'd love to get. I may someday make a custom Deitrich, the first marine to be killed by the aliens. I'd have to find a female head with a very square jaw! Her jaw was HUGE! :D
It's called USMC 3RD FORCE SERVICE SUPPORT GROUP.
And Les, it's still available here for the original $100 price from Toy Square (Canada):

I wanted to buy one just because it's a cool figure, but I've been spending the money on more immediate purchases.

For series three of the Colonial Marines, I'd want Frost with that bag loaded full of ammo, Dietrich with medical equipment, Bishop with tube face hugger and maybe a dissection try face hugger, and lastly Ferro to complete the series for me.

Ok, here's a rough test image with the AVP warrior to prepare for the ALIENS warrior and doing the swarm crawler shot.

Friggin cool imagery, MF.

Try to get T2 to ship yours out ASAP but they usually take a day or two to inspect new deliveries before shipping it out...

Is that image upside down or is it just me? Great use of red though diggin that, will you be doing the Aliens crawler with amber lighting?

When I do the final image, I'm going to match the film, because actually, if I remember right, there are some reflections from Hicks' flashlight on some of them, plus the red/amber hughes of the emergency lights in the compound. I shot the image with the Alien flat on some cardboard and then flipped it in the computer. I hope T2 processes fairly fast, but I just made my order with them a few days ago so I don't know how many came before me and if they process like Sideshow, it might be a littler longer before mine goes out. Last time it took my Rocky from them about a week I think so should be the same this time, would've been faster but customs held it up a few days.

Thanks screamingmetal for that link. But, I just cannot spend over $100.00 just so I can get some bare hands for my Ripley. That is the only reason I'd buy that figure, but just can't afford it. I'll keep looking for some loose bare hands with the "bendy" fingers. I'd like to find a pair that would be in the correct scale to Ripley. Yeah, the gloves look kinda cool, but I really want her to have bare hands like she did in the movie. Just my preference you know?

DAMNIT Batty, you're not making the wait for this thing any easier!!! haha, just messing, thanks for sharing more. :)

"You're dogmeat, pal!"

"Alright, we waste 'im... no offense!"

Joining this party late again, but thanks for leaving me a couple of lines, guys!

Hey, wouldn't it be funny as hell if they gave us Gorman with a set of 2 Remote Sentry Guns? But my money would be on Bishop, Frost, and either Dietrich or Ferro. Maybe Ferro 'cause HT just released several pilot figures and she probably wouldn't be too hard for them to make. The third figure we really need is Newt, but fat chance they'll be making her anytime soon.

You can see the difference with the second set of hands. I'm assuming they won't be bendable so they can hold that pose.

After studying the fingers in those shots I'm not so sure about that Brother Batty. Thumbs look bent differently and in that first shot the "index" finger on the left (of pic) seems more outwardly extended, curious now...

I hope I'm able to provide the 411 on this soon, c'mon Toys 2, you know you want to ship it to me today :)

Yeah, I'm not sure. It could be the different angles. It's still weird to have 2 sets of hands if they're both bendable.

Unless maybe the palms are distinct and just the fingers are posable? maybe? With the style of the creature, there's interesting positions you can have the hands in, but limited with the wired bending, so you mold part of the hand solid and then alow the fingers to bend, we'll know soon enough I suppose.
