Well I wish I was making up what others were saying about this figure, but I'n not.

They aren't collectors and are only basing it on whether it's a god likeness of the actor, so I don't know if that makes a difference to their attitude.

That is a real improvement. I wish Sideshow did just that to the culpt. It looks great

Wow, that photoshopped version does look a lot better, they should send it in to Sideshow as an example. The removal of the wrinkles can make a huge difference.

Since it is only a change to the paint application I can't see why not Sideshow can't change it for the final production.

Pre-Ordered mine!

That said, let me add one more voice to the chorus of PLEASE Sideshow!...fix the massive forehead wrinkles and bags under the eyes (it would to make this head sculpt perfect!!!).

G&T

Where on their site does it have a general contact email address? I think I'll email it to them, just to try and rub the point home somewhat.

People may think I'm being an 'old misery guts' just for the sake of it, but come on, you have to say that once you'd seen the photoshop version you realised that the original sculpt is rather hagged looking.

And Darren is right. To get such pronounced forehead wrinkles he should be raising his eyebrows, not dropping them.

Doesn't make any anatomical sense at all.

#5 is great. I think he's got a good chance at being #1! I think i'll do that too Sue because the wrinkles have to go. He does NOT look right with them. And you're right the photo shopped version makes the original's problems stand out

That's great. I'm sure by now Sideshow is aware of the flaws, but we have to keep insisting so that they remember to actually fix them. I will complain about the wrinkles and the eyes. I just hope they don't decide to change the outfit, cause I really love it!

Whats their email addy? I know that some other people want to contact them over this as well.

I'm going to send a link to the photoshoped image, just in case they are wary of opening attachments.

I just put my order in! I love it - the jacket, the nameplate, the pose, the vamp head exclusive, everything. I can live with the wrinkles, but I am sure the final statue will not be as wrinkly (each little wrinkle costs time and money on a sculpt and paint mass-production line!). I will probably display him in Angelus mode anyway.

This figure will probably sell out faster than Spike, since we have had Spike overload from the toy companies since the show ended - plus we already have a decent 12-inch of him in human and vamped form. Angel however has always been hit & miss in toy form, and SC's 12-inch "vamped out" Angel isn't that great and quite expensive.

I think it is wise to pre-order the figure and wait nearer the time to decide if you still want him. I skipped the original PF Buffy because of the hair issue, I was kicking myself when they fixed it.

If this figure does sell well I hope they decide to announce another figure sometime this year or very early next. Willow or Faith please :D

I forgot to mention the eyes. Do you mean the actual eyes or the eye wrinkles
