Even if the human sculpt was perfect, I'd still prefer the vamp head. It just adds that extra touch of broodiness, and that's what Angel's all about.

I've ordered him. The human face still needs some work but the vampire face looks really good. From a distance i think the human face looks fine, like in these pics:

I think I'm going to order him anyway... I can always cancel him later.
He definitely looks better with the vamp face. If I order him he will be displayed with it.
Though I do find it strange that the figure was inspire from an early Buffy promo shot yet they use the logo from his solo show.
What else are they going to use, right?

Yeh that's a bit odd. I think it's suits the figure better having the Angel logo though. I forgot to say how i think the coat looks great but i'm not so sure about the pose with the sword, i think i'd remove the sword and pose him

Ok. The vamp head does rock. Human head isn't bad but it looks too old. He looks older than he did on the DAMN SHOW!!!!!!
Jacket also looks really poofy in the middle due to the pose. Maybe open it will look better.
Please, make the human head less wrinkled and yes, I'd order. As it stands now, no.

The vamped head is brilliant, such a beautiful piece. If they fix the wrinkles and the lazy eye, this could be as awesome as Spike. I love Angel! I LOVE it. Oh, and I'm glad people like the outfit, as I said before, it's so classy!

It is indeed. It has that mysterious, obscure and stylish aura all over him, just like Angelcakes himself. I just hope this doesn't take a year to begin to ship, like Spike, though if that's necessary to fix the flaws, I will wait.
It's good that he comes with a vamp face, but geez i hate the pose:

It's utterly boring, and he is standing the way old men stand, with their hands behind their back, hunched over. And his old wrinkly face just adds to the old fart image.
I'll still buy him tho, but i'll no doubt pose him with his vamp head. It's a shame though, he could have turned out a lot better.

Top 10 sellers already, woohoo! I've just left a comment over on Sideshows website about the wrinkles but the more i look at the photos were he's at a distance the more i think it looks correct

I am a fan of the outfit SS took, very S5 corporate Angel, although its based off an earlier one. Hope this one arrives before the years out.
Hope the ES is low!
Also, Angels moved up a spot! #9 now!

Who said the Buffy/Angel line's not that popular?! If Sideshow gives us good stuff and treats us like we deserve, we make this line as big as it should always be.
Oh dear god, it's worse then I thought it would be!
Firstly the stance is awful, and off putting. The overall appearance is (as some has already said) is of an old man about to keel over.
The body is bowed enough to make poor Angel look like he's got a right old 'paunch' going on there, and the human face is just horrible, sorry it is. Far, far too old and those eyes are definitely still crossed.
I would have liked to have seen a 'vibrant' Angel, not 'knackered Angel!'
One huge disappointment. The only way I'd contemplate ordering this is if I could remould the head, and re-work the cast and try and make him look more youthful.
