Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I finally got to see Endgame, overall it was great!
I think I liked the quiet character moments the most, the battle at the end was a bit overdone. A jarring moment from seeing Ant-Man trying to hot wire the van then in the next shot is Giant-Man in the background, kinda took me out of it for a second. I think the single worse thing in the movie was the A-Force moment, just implausible, unnecessary, and stupid. It was also my first seeing Cap Marvel on screen, ridiculously OP! I hope when Thanos punched her it de-powered her; just a terrible wannabe version of Superman, all the power without the morality. The conclusion was satisfying, but I would've liked the Time Heist to have been expanded and modified so that the consequences from that be the ending without the giant battle. I also wouldv'e liked to have seen what happened when Capt. America went back to replace the Soul Stone and found Redskull there. Between Infinity War and Endgame, I like stuff from both and the two movies supplement each other, if I have to pick which I like the most, it's Infinity War.

I watched the Spider-Man: FFH trailer afterwards, meh. I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange 2, but nothing else they have planned has me at all interested. I think I'm done with the MCU.
Looking forward to watching Endgame again though!

I think the one thing that disturbed me and I can’t believe it in EG, is it took them five years to finally get every hero back

Five Years :horror

WB is rolling out Batman and Robin “fan event” screenings throughout the nation tonight.

B&R playing right next to the screen playing EG. :rotfl

I need to go see that with my own eyes lol

Seriously? I'm assuming this has something to do with Batman's 80th anniversary?

Decisions, decisions - watch George Clooney in B&R on the big screen, or stay at home and watch him in Catch-22 on Hulu. Looks like it's nipples & cod pieces for the win! :rotfl

After Cap lifted the hammer I just had to revisit this ridiculous video for the hammer lols!

When it comes to the MCU these 2 knuckleheads will always be in my top 5

Oh man just jump to the 1:20 mark for their hammer lunacy.

Hahah I’m going ! I already saw Batman 89 Batman returns Batman forever. And yes they were playing right next to Endgame and YES there actually was a good sized audience in all of them. Bringing in some pot gummies for tonight’s Batman and Robin. My friends are actually pretty pumped. They gummies had a pretty good effect for Endgame, I’m pretty sure I blacked out for the end fight, or I was just overcome with emotion when capt wielded the hammer. Idk

So which AEG Nebula does this figure represent? Prologue "good" Nebula or 2014 "evil" Nebula? She doesn't have the gold strip on her head so I know she can't be Time Heist Nebula.

I suspect that the final product will be changed and she will have her orange parts. Or, at least, I hope she does.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Yeah that'd be nice if they added those accessories. Did she have her exposed scorched left hand in the final battle or did she cover it up?

Anyway I'm finding myself with a great deal of affinity for the 10 Time Heist Avengers, not in their white suits necessarily but just the characters themselves. Not only did they fight in the mother of all battles at the end to defeat Thanos but they all share in the added heroics of bringing everyone back in the first place, at great risk and great cost. I think that going forward there's just always going to be something special about those 10 characters.

I sold off all my SW HT figures but am considering jumping back in for AEG.
