i'd like to see some lighting up in the cockpit, why are there none to be found??? or am i wrong it's gonna be possible to light up al the displays inside???

I think it will have a back lit dashboard with glass cut outs. Am sure they will do a good job at it as they have been getting better at light quality figure by figure. For 700 dollars they better do. The car shape is an easy mould with minimum details and easy on plastic. The cockpit is / sld be a real seller. Like i said earlier for 700 dollars i would otherwise want mine to have an engine turnover echo

Cripes- what a pointless discussion.
Auto Art stuff is 1/18, isn't it? HT Batmobile is 1/6 You hear that, 1/6!!!

To make a 1/6 Batmobile in diecast with that kind of detail- thousands. Dollars

How much is an Auto Art 1/18? $200?

Theses are apples/oranges.

We expect more detail in a bigger scale don't we? I don't care about die-cast, I want more detail. I prefer that it stays non die-cast because it muddies detail and has soft edges.

What if 1/4 scale figures had WORSE detail than 1/6? What is the point? How is that acceptable.

The notices have gone out from SS that its in the warehouse July 16th. So it will be shipping this month...

Last time I got a notice for a date in warehouse from SS (Iron Man Mark VII exclusive), it shipped the day after it arrived in the warehouse. I'm hoping the same is true for the Burton Batmobile. If it is, this bad boy will be in hand a week from this Friday.

I wonder if Sideshow's participation at SDCC (if they are going... which I would think they are) will delay shipping at all? Comic-con begins on the 18th... Will SS even start shipping these that close to the start of the show, or will all the SDCC craziness delay it until the show ends on the 22nd?
