Doubt it, I would think they would move on, most likely the majority of everyone who wanted this has it.
They have the 66 next and then maybe the BTTF DeLorean after that. I would think after those two they would want to make the new Batmobile from the Superman vs Batman movie.

I foresee a restock of this car a couple of years down the road as the "returns" repaint version, the only change? GLOSSY PAINT and Wipers on the canopy, along with orange headlights.

Could happen, but the car comes with more returns features then 89 features. Lights and wipers might be too suddle of a change to even bother

Batman Returns Batmobile should have a glossy black paint, windshield wipers, pull out engine.

It's Hot Toys. They are the masters of marketing the 2.0 versions. It will happen. Mark my words.

But the paint scheme of the Batmobile is of the 1989 version, I am just saying since the Tumbler had a "restock" so who knows, they could throw in this one as well and just change some stuff. Never underestimate the power of the toy industry and it's repaints.

Finally getting my preorder from BBTS tuesday:impatient:, it is a shame I am more concerned with damage now than the overall car. Hopefully they inspected it well and it did not incur any damage in transit.

So this is what having a newborn feels like. This is one heavy sucka.

Lol ahh the pull out engine. Maybe come with the penguins receiver to put under the car as well. True they are the 2.0 masters lol

To top it off it would convert to the batmissile. Watch the next one will have lights on the gages and the screens inside.

Would a returns version be that much of a step up? If I buy this I probably won't be able to display it for a couple of years till I get a bigger place perhaps I should wait. Then again if they don't make a returns I'll be out of luck with this one.

Did they release the black tumbler twice. Was the second release much of an improvement?

It would have a fully operational jet engine and machine guns for me to spend another $700+ and risk another round of QC issues. :lol

I am sure the toys tech five years from now would include a mini soundboard on vehicles for HT. THis would be awesome if it had idle engine, start up, machine gun fire which I have seen on a real 1:1 custom being done, and maybe engine cut off noise. lol too much to ask, with something this size you could easily pull off an R/C for this bad boy.

It would not be possible to make it convert to a Batmissile. The transformation you saw onscreen was a combination of clever editing and movie magic. Even Kenner tried to make one back in the day but to achieve it had to build a larger disproportionate body for the car. I would think if Hot Toys were to make a Batmissile it would either be sold separately or included as an additional accessory with the Batman Returns Batmobile.

I had this bad boy when I was a kid!!! BUT according to the Laws of Infinity this would be possible.

Also, you have to figure the accuracy nuts would lose their minds over the huge honkin' seam lines where the body sections attach to the missile. :slap
