Although the Chrissy Nolan flicks are amazing, and I do like the Tumbler, there's still something magical about the 89 Batmobile. Maybe it was the sleek stylish look of it; maybe because Mr Mom/Beetlejuice was driving it...? The 89 Batmobile will always be an unbeatable design.

But for shelf space in my room? I'd go with the Tumbler!

The name's Keaton and yes, he's awesome but the design is amazing from the get-go.

Good luck finding a shelving system with 18"+ depth. Might as well find the room. By all means get both, but don't dare miss out on this one!

Yesterday I rewatch for the 1000000 time batman returns... and this batmobile is so amazing!
It have a lot more presence and nice escenes than the tumbler on the movie (except for the "intimidate" on TDK and the chase escene on beggins)
I like both batmobiles, but the ´89 one is the coolest

I'm gonna commission a display base that would accommodate the whole piece, probably with lights from the base.

I think it'll be early summer but HT has surprised us in the past and released stuff EARLY

I really want this but my tumbler is taking up a good amount of space and not sure how the wife will like two monsters parked in the house! Haha

Will definitely be getting this when it arrives hopefully in May. Considering the price of an Amalgam 1/12 is at least 4 times the price.

still no release pictures of the caccoon cover from Hot Toys? Would be nice to see it in officially made and not just in the pre order pics...

Anything regarding this piece would be good...its been so long since we last saw those pics on Hot Toys website regarding those new changes but since then theres been nothing. By the way, what were those changes again? I remember that there was the use of the new magnet device that will enable us to remove the panels to reveal the miniguns at the front and the discs at the side...then i think they were changing the design of the rear part of the vehicle to make it more rounder...was that right? and were they going to add some LEDS inside the exhaust to create that flame effect?

you are right, some small tweeks to make it more accurate. But nothing really to noticeable if you are not SO nitpicky, I was really Ok with the prototipe, but it's nice their concern on details.
theres nothing about leds inside the exhaust... i doubt it came with those. front, rear and interior lights for sure!
