I might have to bail on this, it's just way too much cash to drop at once and I don't even have any room for it... although I know I will regret passing on it since I do have DX08-09.

If this turns out, it will be my grail piece. If I have to sell off collectibles for bills and what not, this will be the very last thing to go.

It was my first Batmobile and I have fond memories sitting in a cardboard box with the profile of this batmobile sketched on the side.

Probably cancelled like the Bat.

Last I heard, The Bat wasn't cancelled - it was just changed from a 1/6 to 1/12 right?

Never know, but you have to remember that this was solicited last year. I kind of wonder if that wasn't a decision they made factoring in various things like delays.

I wish I put this on Flex pay last year, I probably could swing getting it but I just don't have the room for it since I have 3A's REX now.

I don't think they would keep the price where its at if they decided to back out and make it 1/12 scale. People have already shelled out cold hard cash for this thing expecting a 1/6 scale batmoblie. The Bat has not even gone up for pre order yet.

You can still put it on flexpay now, since this would no doubt get delayed anyways.

do you think the delay in showing any pics or giving any info on the 89 batmobile is because they are making it bigger? For example changing it from 1/6 to 1/4 scale! heck, if they made it any bigger i could actually jump in it myself and take it for a spin!
