So what's the verdict so far on this game?
Compared to all the games you've played this year, PC or console, how do you feel about this game?

Game of year contender at least?

Best game I've played in a long time, probably since Red Dead. . . it's got that same sort of catharsis-style ". . . damn" ending.

I'm glad people are agreeing this is the BEST game of the year, so far.
Its going to be tough to top the story and complexity and unique world, vision and gameplay this game created.

:clap

Getting ready to enter comstock house on 1999 mode. There've a couple moments that let me know the end is going to be frustrating but it's pretty fun. :lol I thought I had messed up the dollar bill part of the one achievement. I possessed it and when grabbing the coins entered the machine. Thankfully you can do that as long as you don't buy anything.

i'm at the exact same spot on 1999! i've only died about 6-7 times so far, but i have a feeling the end is going to be brutal. going for it as soon as i get home from work.

Nice! I've died a few more times than that just because I got caught in the wrong spot at the wrong time. I'm literally saving every time I can for this last bit of the game. I've upgraded my weapons and am at like $1500 or so as if now. I'll hopefully have more so I can die a few times as the end.

This is out of place but i figured since it has to do with infinite i'll post it here instead of making another thread.Okay here goes:
I've decided to make Booker and Elizabeth in 1/6 but there's a problem, the headsculpts.I've sorted out the clothes and bodies for both of them but the heads are tricky.I'll give it a go but i doubt i'll make it.So i thought of commissioning someone to do it for me.Though he told me it'd be better if i set up an interest thread. From what i gathered an interest thread is about writing down the names of many people who are interested in a certain thing and then the headsculpts cost less since they are casted and not sculpted, correct? Now my questions are:
What would be the price?
Is there anything else i should know about interest threads?
Is there any interest for these two (booker and liz)?

I'm asking here because it's about bioshock infinite and i fear that creating too many new threads for simple questions is not thta good .Sorry if this is not within the rules,i'm new at this hobby (1/6 customizing,it's a lot different than 3 3/4 and 1/36).

Fun/good game, surprised at how we...not so well it's selling.

16 minutes long but a lot of interesting points...

Bummer that the game has reached that critical mass point that folks have to start picking out what's "wrong" with it, just to keep the conversation going.

I guess now I know how people who like the Resident Evil movies feel. :monkey3

I'm not watching that clip because in my opinion nothing is wrong with this game and I'm going to keep on keeping on believing that. :)

So I decided to start 1999 mode late tonight and I'm at the point where Rosalind give you the shield. I really should go to bed but I want to keep playing. Must resist. :sleep :lol

the ending wasn't bad at all. got the final two 1999 achievements. bring on the DLC!!

Congrats! I want to get those achievements...but realistically...I don't know if it's possible for me. I keep saying to myself though that I did insane on ME2...I can do this! But with 1999 and hard modes I really have to strategize...and I'm such a bull in a china shop...going in with guns blazing and I know that will not work at all.

Haha that's my general play style as well. I played through Infinite three times. First time on hard (which was surprisingly difficult), second time on easy to get all the voxophones/sightseer/infusions (you don't even need to take cover... you could literally stand in the middle of the room and kill anything), and then on 1999 mode. I actually found 1999 to be easier than my first hard playthrough since I knew what to expect, what to upgrade, and was generally a lot more patient/strategic. For example I was able to finish the first Siren fight without dying on 1999 but got my *** handed to me on hard. It was challenging but I never felt like it was *too* much. I think i died ~12-13 times through the course of the entire game and Comstock house through the end accounted for half of that.

Despite loving the game's story, is anyone else going to try to ignore it when re-playing Bioshock?

I like everything being tied together, but I like the idea of "The rise and fall of Rapture" even more.
