I can imagine. I've seen enough of the rage on here. Not nice. Plus it's the Facebook/Twitter culture thats infecting this place and everywhere else. Must share, must hate, must vent rage on person/company, must whine like a backseat driver until they get what they want. Must vent rage when things are delayed or more than once. The list would be too long to continue.

Facebook/Twitter is a disease to humanity.

:goodpost:

I agree...man do I agree.

I just got my joker figure in he looks sick and yes I did change the pants.

Got this figure two days ago, and love it although I was suckered into buying it by my friend who reserved one for me even though I told him not to, couldn't resist, but anyways, I rewatched the movie again and began to notice something, the joker wears the same penguin tail jacket, with vest, shirt pants, and shoes with the hat but the only change is the tie, apcot or bow-tie, is there any chances anyone will make custom made ties to match the looks seen in the movie, or will they try to sort this out with the Jack Napier Figure?

The thing that sucks about this figure is the way the white sleeve elastic shirt says to go over the hand peg joint, so accidentally tried to pull it off, and broke it clean off, as I felt sadness, I was extremely relieved to use the spare piece, but now I will try to purchase an extra on just in case it happens again so who knows...

Have him set up.
Just left out of the box hands on and posed him with the right hand down holding the cane and the left hand out holding the joker card.
Wearing the top hat of course....
This guy is phenomenal. Tops Batman side by side in the display.
Every time I look at him I hear "Never rub another man's rubarb!"
I think the hat is nicer than some pics have made it look.
Everything on my jack is perfect on the sculpt and clothing and the accessories were all in perfect order.
I think the likeness is the best they have done,...topping reeves, t1 t800, etc.

I think a temple of doom Indy of this quality is in order after this display...

I think so too. I have the Joker and love it, but I'm not as impressed by it as I am with the Keaton figure. Yuli was the sculptor for this one, so maybe that explains why it doesn't have that much of a close resemblance to Jack Nicholson...

I guess its in the eye of the beholder...but really? REALLY? You don't think there is a close resemblance to Nicholson as the Joker? I think it's spot on, but that is of course my opinion as you are entitled to yours.....C'mon though...you're just pullin' my leg right? :dunno

Man, you guys are pretty tough on Yuli there. She mentioned in an interview that she was aiming for a synthesis between Nicholson and what could be derived from the movie. Remember, his prosthetics were applied numerous times between all the scenes and photo shoots so you're going to wind up with some differences that you have to account for. She did an awesome job! The only thing that's holding the sculpt back is the hair.

I'm being honest :lol. I can definitely see Michael Keaton in the other figure. But this one just looks a bit off in some way. Can't really tell what's the reason at the moment (maybe it's the PERS?). I still love the figure though, even though it's not a completely accurate rendition of Jack (in my opinion).

Wow, did she really say that? I dunno, to me, it sounds like an excuse from not being able to deliver a truly accurate sculpt of Nicholson. Since you mentioned that, I'm now wondering if she has a well thought-out explanation for the head-sculpt on the new T-800 figure... :monkey1

Joker still looks great, by the way. It's definitely one of my favorite Hot Toys pieces.

Well yeah, but as an artist it makes sense. She captures the spirit of the character better than just about anyone despite the inaccuracies. If all the hearsay is right and we'll be seeing multiple Jokers, it probably would've been better to focus on his look from one scene only. It's not like they got high def reference pics though and a bright white face distorts alot of visual information.

True artists give you the personality behind the looks, which to me is most of what I call "likeness" anyhow. Yulli is still number 1 in my book.

Nothing is ever perfect, and everyone sees things slightly different. I'm blown away by this figure, from the paint apps to the skin texturing to how well PERS actually work, which is hit and miss. Having this and Keaton in my collection is something I never thought would happen when I started collecting.

Yep love this joker and see mr jack every time looking at me same with keaton and reeve's and another week tobey /spidey will be here.......love it or not it make's me get that winning joker smile and thats what matters...........cheers for mr .j :duff

The detail of the Hot Toys head is objectively more detailed. The texture on the HT skin is very realistic - the custom head is almost porcelain smooth by comparison.

That said, subjectively I believe the custom has a closer likeness.

Still deciding which I prefer, but without the hat I am leaning towards the custom. The accurate hair line and non-hat-hair I think pushes it ahead just a bit for me.

With the hat makes the decision a lot harder:

If the hat was better, I think the Hot Toys head might win for me. However, as it is I will most likely display this with the custom head and no hat most of the time.
