Not necessarily.
The battle damaged parts look great and the base on the VI is really nice as well.
The reason I didn't buy the IV initally was that it had half the accessories of the BD III.

I hear ya SAB.
But imo I'd prefer a figure plus a pretty sick gantry display rather than just a figure regardless of the BD accessories. :dunno

Great pics

Damn that looks sexy. Awesome pic.

Love this shot you took!! Even though the "A-stance" is the simplest of all figure product photography, when done right it looks great.

The Mark VI is my favorite out of all the Mark suits released so far.

Thanks guys. After trying a lot of poses, I think the "A-stance" as you call it is still my favorite. He looks like a tank in that pose, which is exactly why I chose the Mark VI over IV.

Are the flaps on the back suppose to stick out a little and not lay all the way down? Mine wont lay all the way down and i cant seem to find any pics of this figure from the back.

All the same here. It's normal. They don't sit perfectly close back. But it should be possible to flatten them pretty close. If it's really bad, you can just take them off, really.

im having no color fading problems. never have. people need to stop posing these where they are hit with sunlight. sun will fade everything, it just fades the rubber first.

i have yet to pose mine with non battle damaged pieces. he looks awesome in those pics. maybe ill switch it up soon.

Received mine yesterday after taking the plunge. My first HT figure! A bit pricey but it was the only online store in the UK still selling them (as far as I'm aware). Just about to unbox him, wish me luck! :)

EDIT: And there is a scratch on the non-BD mask :( Going to send an email to the seller!

Not true, not everything fades. It actually makes me turn more brown, and I always keep my rubber in a safe place away from the sunlight so it's all good over here. j/k.

Good point Bishart.

Well it depends on what you mean. I'm pretty sure everything will fade. It's just a matter of time. Some things may just take several years or decades.

should last awhile since they are powering led lights that takes less juice to light up than normal lights.

Unless HT does not know how to wire the damn thing, which many people had problems with.

well I've taken the plunge....
...and I got the mk4 Tony Stark head (neck/collar/sunglasses) to go with it.

Hopefully I get one without problems!
Seller wouldn't open the box but was good enough to take a lot of extra pics so at least I can see there are no obvious cosmetic problems visible at the front of the box.

going back to the fading problem, it will fade eventually even if you keep them in dark, enclosed areas. it's the rubber material that eventually 'seeps' the color. as i've mentioned when this first came out, even those still in packaging have started to fade. we just have to live with the fact that it's meant to be, just smear it with a little gundam marker then you're good to go

Just got mine today - really love this figure. Seriously, it's gotta be the coolest 1/6 figure I've ever had.

Got lucky and scored a SSC EX for right around retail last week :yess:
