Let's hope we don't get drilled for this later :lol

For the most part I believe I'm correct. :lecture

I just rewatched the movie a couple days ago, both movies actually so i think we are accurate :D

Well, i guess that technically the MK was just n extension of the Mech Test.

The mech test was simply that; a test of the parts he was planning to use in the MkII...It wasnt a separate platform like the MkII, MkIII, MkIV, MkV, and MkVI

Does anyone have any solid info as to when this is being released? It seems the date varies greatly from vendor to vendor.

I had forgotten this one has switch out face plates between both heads. Hopefully they connect better than say the face plate on the BD Mark III.

I think "mech test" is just a name Hot Toys came up with to call that portion of the mark II's development.

:exactly:

I guess i can accept the transition from markII into markIII more when you consider the fact that in Ironman 2 all it took to make a new mark was a new power sourse and chest design and a some silver bits on the IV to make the VI.

Completely new design. The only real similarities was the colors and the helmet. The biggest differences were in the legs and arms. The Mark III legs were extremely skinny without any definition. Mark IV has tons of details added to it to make it have more 'musculature'. The biggest difference in the arms was the gaulntlets.

I'm not talking about the transition from Mark III to IV:dunno

^^That transition is a proper one imo like the Mark I to the Mark II..you don't need to tell me that.

i have the art of iron man book
i think in there it also names it the mech test...
not sure though il have to check later

I have the book too and under the Mark II section in chapter 1 (p. 34-36) it simply calls the design,"boot test." I think since they included it in the Mark II section also kinda shows that the "mech test" isn't it's own thing.

It is clearly part of mkii...is just the guts of the legs and gauntlets to test it out and make adjustments

According to the translation the regular figure shows shipping in May from HT and the one with the extra arm piece in Feb.

I don't know. As was discusses in the Ghost Rider thread. My guess is that they just haven't changed it on both pages. So expect to see this guy around May-June.

So wait why has SSC now got this listed as January, when

A) it's pretty much the end on Jan now and
B) they just released the Mark IV which was delayed loads,

I expected the Mark VI to be delayed too, i haven't got the cash all at the same damn time for everything to be coming so close together, HT have just lost themselves an order if this is released any time soon.
