Do you still get sideshow points if you use coupon?

Well I'm new at this, but looking at my order history, all of the regular priced purchases show either points, or points pending (for stuff on preorder). Under New Goblin I don't see any points and also under Joker 2.0 which we used a $15 coupon on, no points there. So I'm guessing the points are only on regular priced items?

However, on the product page for New Goblin, it says "earn $8.50 in rewards with this purchase"?

I'm totally new to the points program so I'm not sure how it all works yet.

I have on occasion considered getting the new Goblin figure. Harry is finally a super villain in SM3, and i like the figure and all the extras. With $90 off, this seals the deal.
I just ordered one. First time dealing with SSC. I have put in an address for a friend of mine in NY, so i won't have any import taxes to pay...
He will ship to me marked "Toy, gift, $15".
Can't wait to get it in my detolf!

Nah, you don't earn points on discounted items (be it gift cards, reward point usage, coupon codes, etc). When you check out, you should see a pink blurb that says this:

Orders purchased with discounts do not earn Sideshow Rewards.

^^ Yes. This is very true. ^^ I almost lost points for using just a few dollars in discounts on the Symbiote spidey. SS called me to confirm my order and changed it for me so I could keep the points but of course paid full price for the regular.

if you have the dough to spare then at more than half off its a good deal ofcourse. otherwise its $95 in the drain unless you're in love with the character in my opinion. Personally i rather put it towards some of the newer releases. The re-sale value of this thing is very low also. I've seen it sell for below retail and frequently below $100 consistently on ebay

I wanted to see if I could create a goblin using some of the ideas in the movie. I don't like the X-games vibe, but I'm trying to incorporate the traditional with the new just to see if a better design is possible.
