Oh, I see. Actually I kind of got the impression that it was rather that 'you are never going to get it perfect as it's a toy, not a small person' kind of thing.

Not that anyone was ever going to really play with these.

He is all for joints and plastic bodies because they are toys. And he thinks that since the name of the company is hot TOYS that the figures they make, apart from the actual toys, are also toys. I just found this argument funny. The articulation isn't there because they are meant to be played with, but to be able to have several different poses.

Was originally going to pass on this one, but after looking at it for a while I think I'll pick him up. I can just see so many posing possibilities with this figure.

People who want to complete the Avengers collection should get this. I doubt HT will release another Hawkeye. Unlike the other prominent characters, this one seems like a one-time only deal, so I wouldn't hold my hopes up for another one.

I see. Personally I hope they come up with some solution so we won't have to see the joints. On a figure like Bruce Lee (without shirt), Hulk or Jake Sully it would be a shame to have so many visible joints. But figures where you only see the elbow joints, that's acceptable for me. Though I'd prefer no visible joints at all. I'd say no to rubber if Hot Toys couldn't improve the quality of it. Someone said they should do sculpted arms, that'd be a great idea imo.

They have it's called a statue

If you want an articulated figure then visible joints are part of the package, nothing (now) can be done about that aside from rubber 'skin'

No but seriously though, I don't mind seeing a few articulation joints. But I think it would be a great idea to include extra complete sculpted arms. Like for Hawkeye, they could have sculpted arms for a "aiming with the bow" pose.
