I seriously doubt HT is going to reveal their P&L statement. Hell do you really think the iphone is sold for pennies above cost?
I won't be complaining if we see Hawkeye at $130 in 6 months, cause I'll def pick him up then. The market will fix itself. Always does.

I been saying that all along :wink1:

Hawkeye is not in huge demand, based on that HTC poll and since figures like Superman,Batman and Joker which have high demand are still available. Its very likely this will drop in price

Being "Cheap" is totally subjective. Lets breakdown what everyone thinks is reasonable.

IMO, I think the grand total including packaging and shipping costs (not including shipping costs to my home) should/would be around $150. That's a little higher then I would prefer but also a price I would be willing to pay for the HT figures that I really wanted to have in my collection. But again, I don't know what the actual costs of all these separate things really are.

To be honest, I thought we were getting figures for less than what they were worth from SSC back when they were $50-$65. But I also think $125 is to high for current SSC figures. I think figures like the Bith cantina band figures should be no higher than $75 and others like the upcoming Episode 1 Kenobi no more than $100. I can understand higher prices for stuff like IG-88 or Bossk. The reason I never bought figures like the G.I. Joe Desert Ops Trooper: Sniper or Officer, even though I wanted them and still do, was cuz I don't think they are worth $99.99, at least not to me. IMO, I think they should have been around $75 and even then I would have wanted to use some of my reward points on them. Same thing with the Cobra Ninja Viper, it's not worth $130 to me, but I will order it once I have a few more reward points to ease the sting just a bit.

Very true. But not just for you, for everyone here. There isn't a person on this board that know how much it cost HT to make their figures. They could be making 10%, they could be making 100%.

I don't think the costs have gone up that greatly. I rarely buy directly from SS because of CA tax, but Cap was $155 from retailers late last year, and Hawkeye is around $170. I think part of the issue is that there's more and more 'deluxe' figures coming out at the $200+ price point, those are the figures that seem to be sitting around. Indy, Jack Sparrow, Sweeney Todd, Predators, etc.

I am so looking forward to this movie. And I bet the largest percentage for avengers 1/6 figures will be sold after the movie is released. Especially the secondary figures like Fury and Hawkeye

The four Aengers should sell out, I'm thinking. Especially Hulk (price and quality pending, of course). The first time HT is attempting a Hulk and I'm hopeful they get it right.

No worries if they don't get it right there will be a ver 2, DX, and 1/4 version :lol.

AWESOME PICS!!!! He's just looking amazing!!! The details in the suit are really cool.

It's tough judging other people's perception of likenesses, it's totally an eye of the beholder type of situation. For me the Renner likeness is fantastic, and if others don't agree, so be it. Its a beautiful figure IMO. :)

:exactly: The pic I was referring with the shield logo has the face cut - off from the nose down which I think looks spot on. Add the eyes and forehead, it throws it off IMO.

i think it will be an awesome figure to have and pose with the rest of the crew. If anything, with the head sculpt, they made it look like Renner but less ugly lol
