i will never understand western cultural phenomenon of complaining about complaining. so widespread, so impossible to understand why somebody is bothered what another person says.

I love your post.

:lol I didn't know that there's a different bread of human in the eastern world. I guess folks on that side of the world don't get annoyed by other people's words

I think he was referring to people who complain about people complaining.. which is kinda funny if you really think about it.
It's like members who ***** at other members for bumping threads for no reason, while in fact they are doing the same thing by *****ing.
:lol

Thanks! The largest Hot Toys figure I've had thus far was the Power Loader and I thought that box was gigantic. I can't imagine how much larger ED209 will be. Their is something really satisfying about getting a huge Hot Toys box.

I have the Powerloader and although the box is in the attic for years I'm pretty sure the ED-209 box is a good bit smaller.

Is that any good (the power loader)? It was before my HT collecting days, and I'm a huge Aliens fan. I know the human figures around the time were pants by todays comparison but how does that hold up?

It looks good but all the numerous black hoses break off with ease because the tiny little plastic pegs don't have the strength to hold them. Also the shoulder joints are plastic and one ended up breaking on mine. My brother helped me repair that. Still, these things have kinda soured that one for me.

Good to know, thanks. Might try and pick one up at some point and do a bit of work on it.

It's a nice piece with great articulation. The yellow isn't painted on so it has a sort of plastic look to it. The shading is good but the silver drybrushing and chip marks aren't very well done. The major issue is the broken plastic pegs which the hoses connect to. I actually sell a kit that fixes these pegs.

It's not like a Vinny & Pauly D buck nutty-doin' it big on The Shore-fist pump. It's like a subtle, heart-felt one which is usually paired with a quiet "f__k yea"

I did that very thing when I took ED out of the box, today, and set him up. :duff Like Eisselmann mentions, the weight is pretty impressive, too. Love this thing. Scale, details and shelf presence is amazing. Can't wait for RoboCop, himself, now. Two of them will look fantastic together.

Have to say, another thing I'm loving about this purchase is that RoboCop is a two figure license for me. Robo and ED are all I require to be totally content with the franchise.

Nice! Glad to hear you're diggin' it :duff

But like A-Dev said, it looks like we're getting the shaft with the full BD and reveal sculpt. If the Weller likeness is spot on and there are some other inclusions that set it apart from the regular version, I can pretty much say right now that HT won my $$$. Right rotten fookers
