Use a blow dryer to warm up the arm, for few seconds and then slowly try to bend the arm. Place your thumb at the inside of the elbow to help pivot.
Replace those batteries. I agree about the trigger hand, it does hold the gun slanted. WHat I did was turn the hand peg horizontal and tilted his hand outward so now the gun is pointing forward. Im wondering if the left hand trigger with the Bruce willis Colton figure is the same hand or different. I might try one of those.

All I did was move the left wrist peg totally upward like you said and the gun hand is completely upright and aiming straight with an outstretched arm

Still have to do the elbow and replace the batteries. I will return with updates on that. The leg armor wasn't a big deal.. glue was a quick fix. They just force us to slide a multi-pieced plastic accessory on a tight clothed leg so once the armor knee cap got to the figure's knee cap it just couldn't handle the pressure and popped. Thankfully it is a clean glue break so it fight right back in, can't even tell now.
