There's also the issue with the War Machine where the red lights of his eyes are bright when first turned on, then after only a few minutes, gets dimmer and dimmer.

Mine does that. I know others here have posted it as well.

I have not replaced the batteries yet.
I'm hoping that's all it is.

I've left mine on for about 5 minutes and they seem to be the same brightness. I'll play with it more today when I get home from work.

It's truly an amazing figure. They did an outstanding job on this...the amount of detail on it is incredible. I'll try and post some pics later today.

I too am facing the same situation with my War Machine red light led, i did changed the batteries but it still is happening (bright for awhile then dim), i am wondering could it be it needed a higher voltage?

I also replaced the batteries for my War Machine's eyes and the lights still dim after a few minutes. That was a waste of $11. Those little things are expensive.

That's quite possible.
We're not the only ones with this issue.

I wish someone knew how to fix it.

Bad/Cheap batteries from HT's IMs.... at least they don't leak corrosive liquid

whoa all of those are from HT? makes me want to think twice about leaving those batteries in there.. I haven't had any problems myself but I don't really keep the lights on much unless I am showing a friend or something that sucks..
