Yeah. My bad. I’ve had Covid for the last week or two

Oh my! I hope all is well with you

but I got up to work yesterday and got the head done. I think it works well. There’s a battery box hanging down the back but it’s invisible behind the figure when the head is on.

Wow incredible mod! Would instantly love a light-up Carol head sculpt!! Hats off to you for going through with the feature.

Thanks for your kind words. I’ve literally never felt so ill, and have managed till now to stay Covid free, lol. It was bound to get me eventually.
As for the head, it was about a five hour job of careful sanding. The part most people would be upset about is the dangling power pack. But I have yet to find a more durable way to light eyes with stable power.

Thanks. It’s made easier by the separate hair piece. I still had to go at it VERY slowly. Only when I had the eyes hollowed out so that light would shine through was I able to remove the original HT eyes and seat the LEDs.
I think I have three of the Carol head in my stash. I collect heads, mainly, which is why I didn’t have the figure to show the head on. I’ll likely just sell the head on and use the funds to buy more heads, lol.

Yeah, I can see why having multiple heads would provide the confidence to attempt a mod like that, but still an extensive and courageous mod. It was definitely worth the effort, it came out great!!

I want to see a photo of her holding the Captain Marvel figures given how some actors do (and some even collect them!), surely she must know about them lol The closest I could find is her holding a funko pop

I actually just picked up the Deluxe Captain Marvel for my display cabinet along with Nick Fury’s pager replica. They look great together and they really nailed her sculpt!
