Unlike most figures I believe this was a day 1 preorder. Wanted to lock it in and send the message that it was a coveted release. Surprised it sold through

I was realizing you might have meant the DT as I was typing out my response.

And you're right. It was one of those things where I put an initial bid on an eBay listing that was a tiny bit high, and at a time when I felt like I shouldn't be buying anything, so then I just forced myself to not pay any more attention to it figuring I'd just lose some eventual bidding war and so be it, but nobody else bid. Still need to replace the little holster though.

Nice collection, TonTon. The ROTJ/Jedha Patrol Trooper kitbash is a nice switch. Looks great!

I just jumped on the Popcultcha preorder. Crazy he was barely in stock. I bet these sellouts are a combination of low orders, small planned production runs, and then production issues related to Covid. Hopefully also related to demand for Star Wars.

And you're right. Strangely enough all the sidearm holsters on my Death Troopers seem to be holding up. I know several other folks have had issues with theirs as well.

I don't have many complaints with the HT Director Krennic but one omission that HT often neglects with this type of figure is a pointing finger hand

Made the quick decision to PO from Popcultcha. No way I'm missing Krennic. I recently sold all of my Rogue One figures, K2, Chirrut and the Death Trooper Specialist, but Krennic is an exception. Just an amazing looking figure judging from the pics on here.
