Mine has it on right of his shirt, i reckon it's the adhesive in hem cause the left side is fine.:dunno

I'll be damned my Han looks same as yours. I remember Ton Ton mentioned adhesive as a possible culprit too. In either case I'm fine with removing the wires from the Krennic cape as I never felt they were needed to pose that costume look for him. The windswept look is more practical with his rain gear actually. Don't know what to make of the HT wire situation anymore:dunno

Just got mine today we?ll take some photos later. Debating on if I should keep the wires in the Cape or not.

So now the question becomes... how does one clean adhesive?

And what kind of adhesive is used. That evil ******* Howard probably has created a sadistic formula that he has used on all the HT figures that chemically reacts after 15 years so he can sell the same figures back to us in the future.

Love that pic with Krennic wearing the cap. I'm still not sure which option I'll go with (cape or raincoat).

Great news: Dir. Krennic has shipped! Should take about a week to arrive.

No damage showing on my Han Solo, either. I've got a feeling that it's more of an issue with the glue than the wire but I'm seriously considering just pulling the wire out of that one, as well.

This is my favorite hot toys ever!!! I love it!!! At watching rogue one I noticed the poncho goes through two ranks and I LOVE the fact that Hot Toys let us swap the ranks just as in the movies.

The cap is done right, at first I thought it went over his hair but I am glad a piece of his hair comes off to fit the top of it, it fits perfect!

The poncho feels right, I want to de wire this 100% for sure but I am figuring out how to do it without damaging or restiching the cape, I feel that humidity will rust and damage the fabric in storage.

Everything about this figure is perfect, the attention to detail makes this the best imperial officer ever not to mention the best human hot toys!! You can get two villains with one sculpt IMHO (The Dark Knight Rises - John Dagget) and Director Krennic honestly lololol.

Did I say the poncho feels like a poncho, screw the water treatment at this point hahaha. This is one of those rare times I wish they would have added PERS. Seeing tarkin and krennic next to each other is damn near iconic. I will have to becareful like i said de wiring this figure, i can foresee this suffering from rusting in the future.

I emailed Hot toys ([email protected]) to ask them what?s their official stance in regards to cleaning and removing the stains from their figure, I have gotten good feedback from them before but maybe they can save us the hassle by recommending us different methods they use, since I feel we miss out on the crafty ways of the asian markets!

Ewwww That sticker on the base... I thought the stand would split into two but noooo, I guess we are stuck with it...

i made a ****oo with my tarkin, tried gluing the magnet but used a bit too much, now it permeated through, now it?s stuck, dammit, oh well i can live with it hahaha

Mine did. One of the tiny clips broke as I pulled it off. I was able to get it glued back on, but haven't tried plugging it back in yet. Worried it'll break off again so if I do, I'm not touching it anymore.. :lol

A good idea but magnets would've been the better choice imo.

Oh, the badge. Yeah, I thought it was a magnet myself and wondered why I was having such a hard time pulling it off. It finally popped out and I realized. The directions are not clear at all -- in fact it makes it look like its magnetized like the cape with that magnet symbol on the page.

Wiregate!!! :panic:
Hehe... Well I wouldn?t want to look up one day and see some rust on the bottom of the Director?s cloak, especially since it is stark white. If it was any other color I would just chalk it up to weathering.
After rewatching RO I was getting tired of seeing how bright white his parka was. I ended up dying it to match the cool grey in the film.

D.R.37, That pic of Krennic with the raincoat looks fantastic.

Now I'm not sure how to display him...

I think I may go this route initially, flanked by a pair of Death Troopers.

Both looks are so damn cool and iconic in their own right. I would never be able to choose. This is one of my absolute favorite figures HT has ever made.

OK just got him out and he is looking great.
