ROTJ Han isn't an Artisan figure. Not even a DX. Just a regular MMS. That said, neither is DOD Indiana Jones and he's got real leather boots, whip and jacket.

Oh, I misspoke -- I thought ROTJ Han was an Artisan figure also.

OK, still, he's got "leather-like" boots according to the spokesman showing him off.

While I'm absolutely thrilled that they are making this, it seems rather odd that they would make the sculpt 100% Hayden.

Sebastian Shaw is still connonically what Vader looked like at the end of his life in ROTJ. I can sort of buy that he still looked like Hayden during the events of Obi Wan (even though one of my biggest gripes about the prequels was that Anakin was too young. I think he should have been mid-30s when he went into the suit and not 23). If The Force Unleashed took place roughly right before the events of A New Hope, at what point did his skin turn white and he starts looking like Shaw?

Did the work related stress from the explosion of the Death Star really cause him to age 30 years in 5? I wish they had gone with more of a Mythos look for this one.

This isn’t entirely based off the TFU Vader. Took some inspiration from it, but think of it as a mix of the latest Mythos Vader, comics and TFU.

If you can't call a 95% to "screen accurate" representation based on said source matter, I don't know what can.
HT will even include the left chin part. Hasbro's figure of TFU Vader, pasted below, depicts him with a tiny part of his helmet/mask still located. Can't find this representation within the game though, maybe the Wii version. Again, this version is included with Hot Toys's special release of their Wrecked Vader.

In essence, it it is very reminiscent of TFU's depiction of a brawl-tarnished Vader. I assume this is what inspired the Kenobi writers, SSC and HT designers.

I am a bit confused with this release. It is a very nice and intricate depiction of Vader, but a bit too extreme, tarnishing the Darth Vader we all know as a great foe no one can match. TFU took it to the extreme (like they did with everything, Starkiller more powerful than Anakin..?), tweaking everything we know about the lore, which I guess is one of many reasons why some fans find it difficult.

My Thank You code was expiring tomorrow so this came at a perfect time. This figure looks beautiful so I can't wait to get it.
