Mehhh looks like the whole line is rehash. Just sticking with Ultron.

Maybe Thor. And Black Widow.

Damnit.

There IS a reason, because I want it... Just because it's not what you would do doesn't mean other people feel the same way. Why complain about something that doesn't effect you? If you don't want it, don't buy it... Seems simple to me.

But just like with pretty much every new PO, we have to go through a week or two of senseless bitching in the thread before we can actually discuss the figure.

Nuff' Said!:exactly:

And as an adult collector, the fact I can see movies this good with the heroes I grew up with and get toys this damn near accurate- I'm good.

Wow! People really get upset When companies make more than one version of the same character? I think it's actually really good for the 1/6 community. this gives collectors a lot more options for their collections. If somebody missed out on the first Hulk now they have two to choose from. I mean it's not like it's a 2.0 Batman or joker where is the same character from the same film just updated. This is the same character from a DIFFERENT film with more options. It may actually be A lot of rehash parts but at least they gave us an extra head sculpt and another torso which is what we wanted in the first place with the first release. The reason it's so much cheaper is because all of the parts have already been developed. It takes a lot of money to create the molds in the casts for every single one of these parts. Quite a bit of tooling just to create the Hulk. Now that they have all the tools to make another one why wouldn't they make more. I'd love to see you Grey Hulk a Red Hulk. Heck they could even reuse some of these parts for other larger figures.

What's wrong with someone buying whatever the hell they want. If I want to spend my money it's mine. Not yours. So why do you even give a **** how many figures they make?

Why in the world are they drawing attention to the seam on the "hulk smash" torso? I don't even see the seam on the one they have on display at the secret base

There's trying to tell you that the production version will have a seam. The one at Secret Base doesn't have a seam.

Why would people WANT a seam? Am I crazy or does this make no damn sense? Why wouldn't they just make them like the one they have there, without the seams?

I understand now that the sign pointing out the seams is meant to be a warning and not a feature highlight (which I originally thought) I just found it odd that they have the ability to make them without seams, but the final product will have them... But I can see how it would be tricky to mass produce something like that.

Yeah it seems more like a warning for buyers because they don't want to give the impression that there won't be any visible seams on the final product.

Probably the seam appears at the final product is because you need some sort of assembly (at the arms) seeing that it's going to be a big box to fit both Hulk and Hulk smash upper body together.

Seams on the one on display might've been filled in or something. I'm 100% sure there won't be any articulation on the production version, it's just a manufacturing compromise that it will have a tiny seam. Wish we could move on from that doggone razor thin seam that will need to be looked for on display to actually be seen. I'm sure some OCD type will find a way to fill it in like HT did, themselves, anyway.

Reminds me of the sandman base for black spidey

This is a good set for those who missed out on the Avengers version. I might just pass and stick with my original. To me I don't see anything that would make me trade up. First of all, like most, I don't like the pants. They aren't "Hulk" pants. To me Hulk always had ripped pants. While it's nice to have 2 bodies and 2 heads, I don't like the idea of having an extra body/head with no legs. It's not like I am going to switch it often especially since the smash body is a statue. Also for us who have the original you can already make a smash pose with moveable arms so there's really no need to get the smash body, even for those who don't get the deluxe. Also while the screaming head is well done, doesn't look like the normal "Ruffalo Hulk" head. It looks more like a mid-transformation head. Also the normal head that comes with the deluxe set looks like the Avengers head sculpt without the moving eyes.
