Tried to read back to see if anyone else asked this but, is the ORIGINAL Hulk torso detachable? If so, can the Smash Torso be connected? I would hate myself if i destroyed a $300+ figure attempting it.

Yes it is removable.

Unsure at this point if the new torso will fit it. But the skin color is different if you weren't aware.

Yeah what JorReno said. It'll look off if the legs don't match the torso. I'd just suck it up and the deluxe set

The Avengers is my favorite movie so I plan on getting the majority of this line. So excited

for those planning to get the screaming head for your avengers hulk, you can forget it.
the colour difference is definitely noticeable.
p.s it looks more screen accurate then the previous one.

Are we basing this off of pictures or an actually side by side comparison with the 1st? If it's just photos, it could be lighting, camera settings, etc making the color difference. It does not matter to me if it is a different green just curious how we decided it was.

I'm not convinced the green is different yet as I don't think there have been any side by sides yet (seeing as there hasn't been any production models made yet).

I wouldn't expect the final product to differ much from this, i'm sure they already have the color nailed down before production... of course there is a chance it could change slightly, but either way I wouldn't expect it to be the same color as the first one.

True. This is what's keeping me and a buddy of mine from ordering the deluxe set. A local dealer is offering it for an amazing price of $340. I can have the full fig with articulated torso + closed mouth head (which I like more), and my buddy would get the fully sculpted torso and screaming head to update his old Hulk, for a $110 share. We don't know if HT maybe changed the torso joint for easier and less risky switching of torso, and then there's the skin color.

Yeah I suspect they will use the same color in production as they did on the prototype, they made a big deal of it in the comparison photos they posted

I do not think it will have the old figures lower. I am sure they would make it much easier to change them.

I will probably just get the deluxe set. I'm guessing I'll end up being glad I did.

they have all hulks displayed in secret base, the original one is with the avengers line.
I dont think it's a lighting problem, the hulk i have is kinda bright green compared to this one.
