I'm still on the waitlist but I don't mind the delay since I have time to save up and sell stuff in case it becomes a live order.

Well, No offense to the OP, but pretty much every head sculpt has a few people that say it's poor quality.

Also, since I started collecting, the one thing I have not understood, and will probably never understand is why people compare a 1/4 scale head sculpt to a 1/6. It always just seems to turn into a huge Enterbay vs. Hot Toys slugfest

Are these the convention pictures? Hot toys Collectors has them on their facebook page.

Lighting is crap. Sculpts don't look that bad, though.

Thanks for the pics, mate! Even though he loses the arm with the red-eye head, I'm gonna pose him with both arms intact in the grenade launcher & sidearm pose with that red-eye head. Not movie-accurate but that red-eye head sculpt is so awesome!

That's what I'm looking forward to the most. Plus, it lights up!

Handgun looks awful though as usual. He has to grip it with just his thumb and first 2 fingers. Handle doesn't fill his palm.

Maybe that left hand is for the grenade launcher and not the pistol? I saw a pose before where he was holding the pistol with his right hand but I don't remember how that fit, if it was the same or better

I'm not a fan of Hot Toys pistols. They're too small and too cheap and they never seem to have the right pistol gripping hands for the figure.

I do notice that sometimes the hands hold the firearm at a weird angle so that you cannot get a clean pose, you have to cheat it and the angle at which the arm ends up looks really bad and off... but you can always find ways where it works out nicely I guess.

Does this then mean that I actually am a FAN of the DX10?? :monkey1

That can't be right.. :panic: :lol

That's why I find it so hilarious that you like this sculpt but hate the dx10. They were all cast from the same head. The DX13 just looks better because it has prototype detail. Not that I've explained it a few times already....

You better hope they either resculpt it or do a better job at production, or you'll have good ol' Benecio Damon on your shelf.

I actually noticed this for the first time when someone posted a pic of Harvey Dent and you can really see the hand is too big for the pistol.

Though the DX11 seems ok.
