Hot Toys - DX16 / DX17 - The Phantom Menace - Darth Maul and Sith Speeder

I'd like to see a graph of people's opinions dependent if they've had the SS Maul or not. I think that'd be interesting.

I should have hot toys version this week. I have the 1.0 medicom, the 1.0 and 2.0 maul sideshows. Unlike most i wasnt wowed by the naboo version but only because of the price. Thankfully the 1.0 came with a ton of extras. I'm optimistic about the hot toys maul mostly because of the bike.

Despite my username the medicom 1.0 is still my favorite for the money ($150) but the body is super frail.

I know HT and SS won’t do a speeder bike for years to come if ever. So yes it’s worth it.

For those who DID go for the speeder version, would you say you feel it was worth it?

Definitely 100% worth every single dollars you paid for it...however be vigiliant of cheap acrylic rod used to stick the bike to the base.

I took the rod from my standard HT dynamic stand and used it for the bike. Unlike the clear rod it comes with this is a snug fit.

To chime in on the crooked saber, mine doesn't have any issues with either the hilt or blades (and I was part of the first batch of shipments as well). I'll echo the sentiments about the blades being difficult to insert though; I worry about breaking something each time I swap out the blades (the swoosh effects, on the other hand, fit in super easily.... go figure).
