I will predict $185... that his how much the exclusive Weathered T-600 was on Sideshow's site.

yeah, but that figure is huge and has the light up eyes.
i can't see the gort being more than $160 with out some kind of electronic feature.

i'll get it either way, but for $185 i'd expect at least the bio lasers like the P1 had.

This helmet doesn't have a targetting laser site, so not likely to light up.

so that begs the question - what other customs could you make with it?

I could easily do a more accurate Snake, but the mandibles are still wrong. Snake used the P1 head, but had P2 mandibles on it. I would have expected Hot Toys to go that extra distance on this guy, but since we never see his face in the movie anyway, who's to say he would have had a P2 mouth too.

Yeah, I could be wrong... but the prices are creeping up and even the more basic figures (which this is not) are in the $150-$165 range. This has a lot of reuse, but so did the T-600 which was spread over 6 releases

i'm just gaging off the last 2 Predator figures from SSC. the Lost was $160 and the P1 was $170 (ex $175).
limited or not, the Gort just isn't a $180+ figure. but, i guess we'll find out.

and i think it would look cooler with the P2 mandibles anyway. it looked like all of the unmasked lost clan preds had the P2 style mouth from what i could tell.

but i dunno if the bio would still fit with different mandibles stuck on it. they have those spikes sticking out the bottom.

Damn, just when I thought I was done collecting the figures from the old Predator films they throw this one out there. Being a completest, I have to buy.

I have a feeling with the recent price hike on 1:6 that this Pred will have the most expensive retail of them all.

Just bought the P2 Elder for $300 shipped. There's still good deals to be found/made on him. IMO Gort is cool and all but he kinda seems to be a kit bash between P1 and 2. Don't get me wrong here, as long as he's readily available and not "super" exclusive I'll most likely still pick him up.

Lol i was saving my money for the predators line, but i really liked the t800. So i bought it, and the next day the gort figure was announced... i was so pissed off, because if i knew of the gort figure i would of spend my money on him. But now i only have $ 110 to spend so...
